Except they can’t discard the mail in votes. Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina all have Democratic Secretaries if State and Democratic Governors. To discard votes you’d have to do it by precinct, in large enough numbers to sway the election, you’re talking about 1000’s of precincts tossing Democratic ballots. This is a Hail Mary by Republican operatives hoping for a close election, never mind they will screw Republican voters as well.

The biggest thing to remember is that Republicans want to confuse people, so if you had previously planned on sending in a mail in ballot and then you decide to vote in person your ballot might be invalidated if you don’t follow the proper procedures. Take comfort in the fact that Republicans are complete idiots and will inadvertently end up hurting their own voters that could solidify Biden’s election.

It's a bad signal of what the Court will do though. If they all fall in line, it could mean trouble.

That’s why it can’t be close enough to throw it to the courts. Let’s say hypothetically Biden gets over 300 electoral college votes. There would have to be some massive cheating and brazen attempt at stealing the election for it to get to the courts. I agree if it’s 270 or 271 then start to worry. Otherwise volunteer to phone bank, text bank and make sure you get at least 3 people to vote that haven’t voted yet.

The fact that people are refusing to even consider this when it's happening right in front of our faces is terrifying

Well, we can assume that the Republicans are probably all giddy over this move. Anyone else?

today they ruled that in wisconsin any ballot received after election day won't count, and in that ruling Kavanaugh basically opined the result on election day will stand mail in ballots be damned, and trump put out that video I posted on the prior page. I don't know what else I can show people

Justice Kavanaugh:

For important reasons, most States, including Wisconsin, require absentee ballots to be received by election day, not just mailed by election day. Those States want to avoid the chaos and suspicions of impropriety that can ensue if thousands of absentee ballots flow in after election day and potentially flip the results of an election.

Justice Kagan:

JUSTICE KAVANAUGH alleges that “suspicions of impropriety” will result if “absentee ballots flow in after election day and potentially flip the results of an election.” Ante, at 7. But there are no results to “flip” until all valid votes are counted. And nothing could be more “suspicio[us]” or “improp[er]” than refusing to tally votes once the clock strikes 12 on election night. To suggest otherwise, especially in these fractious times, is to disserve the electoral process.

Probably noteworthy that Kavanugh was alone in this - none of the other conservative judges concurred.

If they werent being so blatant, they'd likely be able to steal it. Make no mistake, the only reason why turn out is so high cuz they're in your face pulling this ****. Honestly, trump's the least of our problems, its the ones that we cant see doing that **** from behind the scenes that we have to worry about.

Kavanaugh’s reasoning is flawed and illogical. He just exposed himself. If we’re going to impeach any of them, I’d start with him and then Coney-Barrett.

But that is why he dems will try to pack the court to get some semblance of balance bak. I want term limits in the worse way for all them, senators, congressmen and Scotus

Take a deep breath, I don’t know how credible this guy is but what he’s saying makes no sense. Read this:

https://www.forbes.com/sites/danielcassady/2020/09/05/election-2020-battleground-states-heres-how-theyll-count-mail-in-ballots/

Read that and realize 2 things:

1. Due to the early vote the Democrats have banked a ton of votes for Biden.
2. If the Democratic in person turn out holds close to the Republican in person turnout then well you get the picture

The good thing is that Democrats can still drive out the vote for Biden and you can help shape that:

This is precisely why voting early was important. So stuff like this decision only affects the margins.

It’s truly an amazing thing to observe when a country, especially the United States of America, looks to be on the verge of going off a cliff and is in grave threat of becoming an authoritarian state. Only a faint few have recognized what could possibly happen and how bad the situation is and how god awful it could get. I think a lot of people are naive, some just cannot imagine that it could ever happen to their country, not to us, no way. The reality is that this man, with the help of the Republican party, and his propagandist (led by Fox Network) has brought the country to it’s knees and given another 4 years would bring more pain and suffering than anyone can even imagine. The country would never, ever, be able to survive another Trump term in office. Make no mistake, it would be the end of the United States as we’ve known it and the rest of us would suffer the consequences.

I’m uplifted by the number of people voting early, there seems to be a recognition of the severity of the situation. The ideal circumstances would be a landslide to demolish Trumpism and be a total rejection of what we’ve gone through these past four years. I hope and pray that good people will stand up and be counted.
