Robin is getting buckets out here haha! The one thing I can say about Robin is he plays true to his size and within himself.

Bamba is -39 in only 20 minutes of playing time. He was -23 in 25 the last game. It takes a special kind of talent and effort to achieve that.
I don't believe he would be able to make up for it for the rest of his Magic career.

**** on that note, Franz is -38 in 24 minutes....YIKES

We need to learn how to pass the freaking ball. Way too much dribbling out there.

This is a good watch:

Well, the end of the bench and RJ Hampton turned this game from a disaster into a standard blowout.

Let's hope this team gets healthy soon.

Well, it turns out the left side rim was the better one after all

Silver lining: we might have the most productive and high-scoring bench squad after those two blowouts by the champs.
The Magic bench has scored the ridiculous 132 points combined in the last couple of games. :D  :o

BUT SHHHH....

...don't tell anyone, we need to keep it a secret from the competition and stay under the radar. :banghead:

Any calls on Bamba trade? Bucks 2086th second round, top 59 protected pick?

We could use either. Chet is the more complete player while Banchero is a machine on offense.

Are you joking?????

With that kind of "development", Bamba-style defense and rebounding & lights out shooting from 3 ..... maaan, I think we might need to attach our FRP to his expiring contract in order to move him.

106.4 defensive rating for the season so far. :banghead:

I hope he finally realizes his true potential and ends his career as a basketball player and tries his luck in volleyball or music.
Or just goes back to Texas to study and graduate from university. He might need the degree one day.

Starting center didn't went to FT line in 8 out of last 9 games. In that period he attemped 40 threes.

Since he was compared to Gobert. This is Gobert and his FT stat line ( 43 FTA) in 8 games.

Image

Bamba just can't start. Even on worst team on East he isn't starter. It's time to trim fat.
Prior to this season i thought he is execellent rebounder. His numbers in that department as bench player were great. It turned out he can't even rebound that well against starters. Bamba is gimmick. LIke Maker, like Bol Bol. Goofball 7 footers with very long arms that can't be implicated into actual basketball structure.
They *can shoot* but their shot value isn't good enough to justify them shooting or standing on perimeter.
They *can defend* but non of them can actually guard phyiscal players.

So everything is gimmicky. Everything they *can* do is below league's average, or average, and there is so many things they are doing below league's average to be playable. In nba in general you will either be 3/5 at everything or excellent in few things.
Bamba's only above average shotblocker, but even that doesn't mean much since his defensive awarness as team defender is very poor.

True. Any comparison with Rudy Gobert is just ridiculous at this point ... or ever. Bamba is not a rookie and so far he has proven nothing besides being madly inconsistent, unmotivated, inefficient and passive. Comparisons with the efficiency or impact of Gobert are just impossible. Rudy has def rating of 96 currently.

The fact of only 2 FT attempts in such a period is just mindboggling. At the same time 40 3pt attempts and only 10 makes. Bamba is a victim of the modern NBA trend trying to turn any player with any skillset, position or physical attributes into a 3pt shooter, which obviously does not work for most of the lab rats. Not everyone can be turned into Steph Curry, Klay Thompson or Larry Bird.
