I'd much rather be where we are than where we were 2 years ago. I think it's pretty easy to build bottom feeding playoff team when you're one of the highest paid teams in the league. We're moving in the right direction now.

I don't necessarily disagree, but my complaint is that Weltman and Hammond waited 4 years to do this instead of doing it immediately. Did it take them that long to realize the prior roster had a low ceiling? This team has a .380 winning percentage under WeltHam, and they are in Year 5. How many GMs in the NBA get that many years to *not* build a contender, and start tanking halfway through Year 4 of their tenure?

Instead, we just do one pass and then a three or we have someone drive into a crowded key and throw up trash. That's not helping these guys long term.

Never mind that the last 2 teams to win a championship were apparently shallow enough that they bought our 2nd rounders off of us definitely wouldn't of been any use to use!
