Some interesting picks here and there.

Biggest steals so far [imho] are Giannis at #4, Butler at #9, arguably AD at #17, and Donovan at #21; and the way the GS defense is humming along, Draymond at #19 is arguably a steal.

I mean, within the context of this project he probably is a steal [even if he's not quite the 19th-best player in the league] because he fits so nicely around other talented players.......and other talented players is exactly what he's guaranteed to get within this project, since we're taking the cumulative talent of a 30-team league and compressing it into 16 constructed teams.

At first I was sort of surprised to see Jarrett Allen go this high, but upon reflection, he is having a fantastic year. Legit pick at this stage.

Khris Middleton isn't really having a good year; sort of surprised he went so high. In light of him already being off the table, there are 1 or 2 players I'm a little surprised haven't been scooped up yet (I didn't name-drop!).

My understanding was that the evaluation wasn't solely based on this year but also what we would realistically expect from them in a playoff setting.

Projecting how they are expected to perform in the 2022 playoffs, I believe. That's why someone like Kyrie is interesting. And AD.

To me "A" means ascending round and "B" means descending round.

So, for an 8 round draft:

AAAAAAAA is Classic Draft (good for pro leagues encouraging parity)
ABABABAB is Snake Draft (perfectly balanced if there's no particular advantage to the Head (1st round))
ABBABABA is one way to do a Tail-biased Snake draft (if 1st round is a major advantage)

ABBB... would be an even more heavily Tail-biased Snake Draft that I've never seen before. We can do it, but we should recognize that it's non-standard.

I was expecting something like the 3rd one (Tail-biased Snake draft).

Yup, that's what I was thinking.

As we're chewing on this, it makes me think we should really use an A (for ascending) & D (for descending) notation to avoid the ambiguity. A/B for more than one notation, A/D doesn't - I don't think at least, lol.

We're having this conversation because the complete list is non-standard, but was referenced as using an ABBA standard. Hence, we need to get clarity on what nomenclature we are using, and whether the intend was to create something new and extreme, or a more typical tail-weighted snake draft.

Most people said for an ABBABABA draft (8 rounds) and the OP interpreted it as AB, BA, BA, BA (4 rounds).

Ok, it seems clear that the consensus is different from my understanding.
The third round won't change and I will correct the fourth and later rounds.
Using the new (for me) notation:
ABBABABABABA for 12 rounds.
