9th and 10th best teams were 23-42 and 25-47.

That year 3 teams were on pace to win 60 games. This year nobody will for first time in 44 years. :lol:

Well: the Bucks could win out.

ESPN win odds:
@Washington 71.9%
Chicago 67.5%
Memphis 58.9%
@Toronto 51.8%

This comes to a 14.8% chance.

Markelle was my favorite prospect out of all of tank our tank years. That pull-up, off the dribble, 3pt shot was a BIG part of it. Why does he keep teasing us? :lol:

He is only player in history, since probably Elf Payton, who's every single 3 point attemp is analyzed to a slightest detail. Like, pullup 3 is most basic, normal shot in nba. Jordan Clarkson took 213 pull up 3s this year. Fultz took 15. and every single one of them was on twitter

Is it physical, mental... who cares at this point?

He doesn't take them, he made 5 whole season long. On 15 attemps. It's beyond ridicilous to keep talking about his 3 point shooting. He made 73 threes over his entire nba career, 6 years. Aaron Gordon as "bad" shooter, in his 3rd year made 77 , on better percentages.

So you have two factors:
1) volumen- ultra, ultra low
2) accuracy- crazy bad for nba

Can we not pretend that making 1 pull up 3 every month means that he is "fixable" for 6 years straight?

The clip is hilarious. Why? Because he’s so satisfied with himself after doing something 95% of starting point guards do every quarter of every game. Very funny.

If he wants to stay on this team (especially in a starting role) he needs to start shooting the 3 like this all the time, regardless of whatever detrimental effect it has. Wouldn't surprise me if someone from Orlando leadership explicitly broke it down to his squad. Can't be avoiding 3s and shooting slow-mo 3s while sharing the court with Paolo and Franz - those dudes will kill it in space - even if Fultz is playing great is nearly every other aspect of the game.

But this could've also just been a situation where the shot clock is running out and he's got momentum moving forward.

Just the fact that clearly he can shoot it like this and doesn't all the time bugs the crap out of me. From what I can tell, his arm didn't fall off after that shot so I don't know what sort of negative impact that form has on his TOS. Maybe he'll be questionable or something for Tuesday's game.

People keep asking why he does not shoot the 3 like this all of the time.

The answer seems obvious to me.

Because of the motion and force required from that distance, he is probably limited as to how much he can practice that shot. Without practicing it, he is probably hesitant to shoot it in the game.

As long as he doesn't practice it, his TOS doesn't flair up.

I think Fultz is better suited for a backup role because he doesn't have consistent energy for 32 mpg. It's not a knock on him. It's just that some players' bodies aren't made for big minutes. He'd have a longer career if he came off the bench and played less than 25 mpg.

Analytically, he puts up bad numbers against starters also.

PG is also the most energy consuming position.

He shoots this form consistently from 18-20 feet. I have a hard time believing the extra foot causes a dramatic difference but I am no doctor. Nonetheless - he's obviously been coached to shoot the slow-mo form for the vast majority of his 3s. And I'm saying someone from our FO will have to tell him if he wants to be a starter for us for the foreseeable future, he's gotta ditch that slow mo 3 and start shooting 3s that make the defense care.

We have no chance for playoffs and Fultz shooting mechanics miraculously returned....... The sooner he is gone the better.

Lol...riightt. Now that we have no chance for the playoffs, Fultz chose last night to finally blow the cover on a vast career-long conspiracy where he's been pretending to have a shot-mechanic-altering injury. :crazy:

I was full of praise and hope he does it, I don't know, twice more :banghead:

I'm glad he shot it well in that clip, but not quite ready to celebrate his rebirth as a sniper after one shot. Not too many NBA players generate this much buzz when their shot looks normal...maybe Ben Simmons.
