Writing was on the wall when Griff went after Stotts talking to Giannis & Dame. This isn't good.

Yep pilfered a top Assistant from another team (and picked him over another certain assistant on said team…)
I’m once again begging the Bucks to get Kenny Atkinson.
How compatible are Kenny's schemes with respect to the current Bucks players' offensive and defensive skills? I ask because that is a big problem with AG, and Nurse being also from AG's old team would probably have had similar scheme tendencies and if so, would have been bad for the Bucks.
Kenny was Bud’s guy, but he’s been pretty flexible with the different teams he has been with. He got boned with the Kyrie-KD Nets deal.

Having an assistant coach quit on you before the season and now players questioning you in the locker room, that’s strike 2 for Griffin and it’s not even Christmas.

Yeah wtf. The late game offense has been the bright spot throughout the start of the season.
If anything this article makes Bobby look clueless given his rebounding woes and highlights Mids' boneheaded decision to bring up the ball when Dame was able to. Dame did a nice job contesting that layup and everyone else jogged back. That's when I just turned the game off.

Didn't Lionel Hollins leave the Bucks to coach Memphis during the season?

Assistant quit x1
Players telling coach to change defense scheme 8 games into season, he does x2
Bobby Portis calling out coach, it leaks outside of locker room in hours x3
Writing is on the wall, just the question of when

Yep, and in this game, it was us unable to grab a board on the defensive end that led them to plenty of second-chance points in the final 3 minutes and that's what sunk any chance of a comeback.
Both ends were really bad, but the D was worse.

What happens in Vegas is hardly a reason to fire the coach. Lillard in his presser alluded to the atmosphere in the arena being like USAB or Summer League, and he was right. It was strange and unsettling to have a half-filled arena and a bunch of neutral fans. They should have played through it, but they couldn't force the Pacers into the half-court game in which the Bucks had an overwhelming advantage often enough.
The Pacers are a hot team with a fast break game that is befuddling everybody. For now. The league will catch up, and the cream will rise to the top. Not a time for billboards and blubbering.

Think you’re missing the point. For most of this season, the team doesn’t look like it knows what it’s doing out there. On defense and on offense.
We win because we have TWO of the top SIX scorers in the entire league last year on our team. And one of them is a former 2x MVP and DPOY. A coach like Chauncey Gardner can roll the ball out on the court, and this team will get wins by osmosis with that talent.

We played them on the road and lost. We played them at a neutral site and lost.
Next week we play them at home...

Bobby sucked tonight (and has most of the year). At the same time, Bud did a great job taking particular role players, a putting them in situations to minimize their weakness and maximize their talents. You take Bobby out of that, and he’s back to Bulls Bobby.
And these guys lost $150,000 extra tonight, and the shot at a total payday of $500,000 on Saturday. Some of them are going to be angry about the loss.

Win.
We're 10-1 in Wisconsin, 5-6 outside Wisconsin.

We're talking in circles on here, but this is not even remotely a possibility.
Edens wouldn't do it due to ego, Bud probably tells us to go **** ourselves if we did.
Stotts, at this juncture, is the only real play, imo.

Exactly. We are going to lose games and look bad from time to time. That happens to everyone and is understandable, especially with a new coach and ball-dominant player.
What is unsettling is that a veteran team with real championship aspirations hasn't played a complete game yet despite us being through a quarter of the season. Throw in already more red flags flying about this guy in three months than in five years with Bud and it's not difficult to see why many of us are panicking.
As someone else just posted, we are now less than a year from Giannis turning 30. Dame will be 34 a couple of weeks after the draft. Khris will most likely continue to deteriorate physically, Brook is closer to 40 than 30 and the young guys on this team have not shown the ability to consistently contribute. We don't have time to f*** around here.
I know pulling the plug on AG so early into his first season may sound crazy, but you know what is even crazier? Sitting idly by and watching him derail a potential championship run when it's clear he's in way over his head. Especially when the owners are paying a fortune to field this team.

And time is ticking on Bobby having above neutral trade value. Houston is playing 37-year-old Jeff Green as their backup center because Landale has been a disaster. Cash in.
