That was one of the worst performances I’ve seen from the bench in awhile. Felt like each time any of the starting 5 was out the pacers would out score us by 10 in a matter of 2 minutes. Hauser, PP, and Kornet have no idea what the **** they’re doing in those minutes. Brutal to watch

That 3pt shot with 42 ticks left and the Cs only leading by 1 was as clutch as you can get.

JT has been playing alot better than he is getting credit for. He is attacking the paint, getting to the line and playing on both ends.

Shooting is the least of my concerns. We may need a heater or 2 in the finals, but super solid should be enough til then.

I voted Jaylen VC because this was an L and he pulled the game out from jaws of defeat. That **** was insane. Defensive play of the game on that Siakam strip, along with the Jrue forced TO on Hali.

Jrue was **** amazing..

But I still voted Tatum for CP. God on the rebounding and brought it home in OT.

That game was **** amazing to watch though. If we drop game 2 in Boston we will suffer in Indiana. Them boys can score the rock.

Joe needs to do something and not just rely on his players to deliver. Main concerns tonight: bench play and Horford getting targetted on defense.

Other than when he successfully works the refs, a coach only accomplishes things through his players.

When your defensive scheme fails over and over, you have to make changes. When a certain player is getting owned on defense, you have to try something else, either via scheme or change in personnel. He did very little of that tonight.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but sometimes the coaches job is to manage the greater good and giving up something for a better advantage somewhere else.

It might be that giving your star players some bench minutes even when the bench is getting owned for awhile because you know you will need them energetic later and in the long run.

It might be a defensive scheme to give up certain things above others, especially when the opposing offense is very potent and not adjusting too much allowing the players to get better at it in real time.

Sometimes you don't change if you think what you're giving up is for the greater good and that adjusting would cause worse damage.

Having said all of that, I would like Joe to be a bit quicker on the trigger. If people haven't noticed, he is quite quick on the trigger for calling timeouts in the playoffs and tonight.

Holiday broke Haliburton's ankles, never saw a defender do that. At the end of regulation and OT he forced tos just by intimidation. If he can get in his head it would be huge

A win is a win. Carlisle is a dang good coach. One of the best in the game, imo.

I think as somebody mentioned Tillman should play next game instead of Kornet.
We need to get PP and Hauser going and help them on defense if need be. We cannot play the starters 50 minutes a game.
I give the VC to Brown and Jrue. This was without a doubt Jrue's best game as a Celtic.
Tatum did really good, too, some very questionable plays though and as again some predicted, Carlisle is giving Tatum the 3 cause he's not shooting it well(2 of 8).

Sam Hauser was **** putrid. So so bad. Our bench is a concern. Big concern. Might have to try some other guys. Kornet and Pritchard is not enough and even then both guys are pretty mediocre in their own way. Kornrt got demolished by Turner. Hauser was -8 and Pritchard -15. Might be better asking Brissett or Springer to just come in and defend. Xavier Tillman has to play.
