I can't help thinking of last round Game 2 when I was trying to shrug Game 1 off as an outlier and thought the C's would bounce back and crush it in the next one, and then although they played better and the game was a bit different, it still ended up the same with the Knicks coming back and beating us at the end.

So I think I'm trying to say... don't muff this up, Knicks.

PS. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Knicks doing to us what the Pacers are now doing to them lol.

Just like last year? Is half our rotation gunna get injured in game two?

Why is there always excuses about injuries on this forum? The Celtics were all injured last round with Brown having a knee issue, Porzingis barely able to go because of a viral issue, and Tatum eventually getting hurt. That doesn't take anything away from the Knicks winning that series. Lets not make excuses for why teams lose. Injuries aren't why the Pacers beat the Knicks last season.

Some teams just play other teams better regardless of who's out there. That's what I feel about Indiana, so that comment was made moreso as a general statement of this group of Pacers core and their ability to match up well with the Knicks.

last seasons game 7 had no OG/Randle/Mitch (3/5 of the starters) along with bench pieces out.....if this series is 1-1 it will be 2-1 NY and swing back in the knicks favor

Knicks were up 2-0, I don't care who was playing on the Knicks. They had no business to blow it and they did. It happens - the Pacers seem to thrive against this team when the odds defy them it seems. Injuries are part of basketball, no excuses please.

I've now seen this stat posted by three different twitter accounts, and it was different all three times. I think the first one I saw was 10-13 and showed all 13 shots with time and score (before ECF G1). It even showed a counter with each shot, to keep track of the makes and misses.

So, anyway:

1. Haliburton is really clutch.

2. The internet is untrustworthy.

3. Also, my memory is untrustworthy.

Super lucky bounce and we shouldn't have been in position for a stroke of luck to jeopardize everything.

I thought it was 10-11 and now like 11-12 after "the bounce".

Anyway, it's been an insane run. He's had a much better season this season than last. He should be 3rd team All-NBA again. I don't know if the bad first month and 1/2 or 2 will hurt him. It cost him the all-star game.

By most advanced statistics he's top ten, offensive advanced stats top 5. Only behind Jokic and SGA in Offensive Win Shares.

As a Pacers fan I can tell you that it didn't start in the playoffs. We've been doing this for a while. People can determine what that means for themselves whether it means the end is near or it's just who we are.

Unrelated to your comment I have also come to the conclusion that if a team runs up the score on us and keeps their starters in until there's two minutes left in a 40-point game we really can't even be upset. We set the precedent that no lead is good enough. So when some team may run the score up and keep their starters in for far too long we definitely cannot cry foul either.

It was a miracle, God is on the Pacers side and He intervened to make the ball go in over and over. The Pacers are divinely chosen to win the NBA title this year. You must begin to believe.
