Well, we face four straight lefties looking at the matchups, although Bush and Suppan against the Phillies offense scares me. Need to make up some ground before going back on the road.

I would actually give the player of the game to Gross. He played excellent today.

Rickie Weeks was another hero today?

Huh.

And think about this. Gagne has blown 4 (?) saves and the Brewers are still 3-1 in those games.

That's somewhat impressive to have the ability to bounce back like that. But this team is still a ways off from being a good team game in and game out.

3 UP and 3 DOWN:

3 UP:
Prince Fielder 3-3 2 BB, 1 RBI
Gabe Gross 2-4 2 BB, 3 R, SB
McClung/Mota 3 INN, 0 ER, 1 H, 3 K's, 1 BB

3 DOWN:
David Riskie .2 INN, 1 H, 3 ER, 2 BB
Rickie Weeks (Defense)- botched EASY DP
Bill Hall/ Craig Counsell 1-12, 4 K, 5 LOB

Braun has been hitting much better, and Kapler stays hot.

SportsCenter just did the game highlights. Richie Weeks makes his appearance, and Brian Shouse was renamed "yugh."
