boston - row A (baseline - next to bench ish)
new york - front row upper bowl
Charlotte – second row courtside baseline
Atlanta – front row behind the suns bench
Washington – about 15 rows back lower corner
San Antonio Row 2 (after courtside – corner near suns bench)

Then just bulls and kings to go

I would like to get the bulls one level with centre court or something I reckon, we have a lot of base and corner seats, its wicked coz they are close, but lets aim for the middle for the bulls I think

Totally agree with the centre court thing. Here are mine.

Toronto - Baseline Row 5 (with KP)
Boston - Row A Baseline Corner (with SDU)
New York - Front Row Upper Bowl (All 6 of us)
Charlotte - Second Row Courtside Baseline (with SDU)
Atlanta - Row BB Baseline Corner (with Nevetsov, TASTIC & Rodrizzle)
Washington - Row F Lower Corner (with SDU, KP & Rodrizzle)

Man, I can't wait for this trip.

So it's pretty much BYOT, eh? No prob. Luckily, the Celtics game hasn't sold out yet, because all the fair-weather fans have forgotten about basketball again. I'll try to find something in the loge near the Suns' bench. I sat in Row B on the floor near the Suns' bench for the Suns-Celtics game 2 years ago, and it was awesome. The basket support does block your view at times, but it's well worth it to get that close to the action.

Do you guys know where you're staying in Boston yet?

absolutely no idea about where we are staying, its about time we start sorting that out tho for sure.- have you got any suggestions?

were keen for the cheapest, whist still being secure and not a total dive etc

as we have a big vehicle, it doesnt have to be inner city, but close to public transport would help etc or if traffic sucks everywhere and there is a hotel near a good inner city spot then thats cool too

any ideas?

A big survey/study a few years back named Boston as the worst driving city in America. I definitely agree with that assessment. Between the hassle of trying to navigate Boston's insane road system and maniac drivers, and the cost of parking at the Garden, I'd recommend ponying up for a hotel that's T-accessible (public transport = T).

I don't really have any specific recommendations, because I've never stayed in a hotel in Boston, but be forewarned that a lot of hotels are really sleazy about saying where they're located. I.e., saying or implying that they're in a really good area, when they're actually 3-4 miles away. A couple of my friends have fallen for this. Before you book a place, feel free to e-mail me (nick dynamo at gmail) to confirm that it's a decent selection. You also might want to try the Celtics board -- someone on there could probably hook you up with a solid selection.

Alright: I can confirm I can be in Phoenix for this.

Some considerations:
- I can budget around $300 for the tickets plus gas and food and such.
- I would very much like to sit with the group, though. Is this still possible? I don't really care which game and my budget it seems would only really permit 2 games.
- I would like to participate in the pick-up game, even though unless I get into shape I'm gonna be winded 5 minutes into the game.
- I'll be driving a Prius so I can do some people-moving on the cheap. I'll also have room for basketballs, luggage, a water cooler, or anything else in the hatchback for the pickup game.
- I'll be coming from Tucson and will gladly give rides up to Phoenix to other Tucsonans (or other Phoenicians) rides.
- I also plan on taking a lot of photographs.
- If the guys more-or-less in charge could get back to me (or just don't feel like buggin' the boards with the correspondence) my email is steve [at] impulsenine [dot] com. That also goes for people who'd like rides, etc.

Wicked.

My flatty works for Toyota and I think she got a little 'excited' when I said we might be blazing round Phoenix in a Prius... :)

Welcom aboard Chief.

So the pickup game...4x 3min quarters good with everyone? Fitness is somewhat lacking :)

FOUR quarters? man ill be screwed! haha

i hope noone is expecting us to be mega awesome ballers or anything haha

impulse, awesome to hear you can make it man! im guessing NF33IH has hooked you up with the details already?

the games where it would be best are the suns kings which is the group booking and suns bulls which we havent booked yet so we can get another ticket if your keen on that.

great to hear more locals joining up! i know some of the peeps from planetorange.net are getting in on it too, but not enough, we want quality AND quantity so all you suns fans join the bus!

Seriously 4x3minute quarters? C'mon man, that is barely long enough to raise a sweat.

I say we just play to a score and then if everyone is keen we go again and have breaks etc.???

I've been working on my fitness, but am as sick as a dog at the moment so that is killing my fitness. I am hoping to try get back under 100kg an attempt probably my last comeback. Be it before or after the trip, we shall see.
