Fixed.

Seriously though, it's the curse of Jumbo Joe. He can't get out of the first round.

The Tracy McGrady of hockey? Except for Thornton actually being good

Sharks are choking again just like always. I picked Anaheim to beat them before the playoffs started and I'm looking good so far. The Sharks for whatever reason are always a great regular season team but just can't translate that into wins in the playoffs. People will continue to put most of the blame on Thornton and some of it is deserved but hockey is a team game and he's only one player on the team. Where's Patrick Marleau? Nowhere to be found again too. If the Sharks are bounced in the 1st rd they need to think about blowing that team up and changing the foundation. Guys like Thornton, Marleau, Cheechoo, Michalek, etc... have had enough chances to get it done and they haven't been able to. That team has so much great young talent that they could afford to move some guys around. Pavelski, Clowe, Setoguchi, Vlasic and a good minor system too.

"Its the Shark's year"

I heard that a million times throughout the season. I'm sure its McGrady's year as well.

They are so much like the '90s Atlanta Braves it's scary. And that's a fanbase that doesn't deserve the perennial crap they keep getting in the postseason. They fill that building every night.

Ok, he can't make it past the 2nd round. Or whatever round he's ever made it to. Either way, fact of the matter is, he chokes during the playoffs. Stats don't lie, he will put up amazing numbers during the regular season, and not contribute when it really matters.

From Julien
"It wasn't premeditated," Julien said Saturday night. "In reviewing it, he hit him with his glove. He had his stick in his hands, but his glove hit his helmet. Had his stick hit him in the head, I think Lapierre would have been down. But Lapierre stayed up and kept going at Looch. If there's one thing, I know it certainly wasn't premeditated."

Why is there such a double standard in professional sports when it comes to suspensions?

No Looch, no problem. Bitz steps in nicely as the B's win 4-2.

Michael Ryder with the game winning goal. Kobasew with the empty netter.

Bruins lead series 3-0.

Lol Griff, atleast our team made the playoffs so stfu. As for the Habs:

Sure, technically Boston is the better team, but they have something that this team of ours lacks thoroughly...and it's what the key to our past teams upsets as well. A little thing called HEART, and a WILL to FIGHT for the puck. We are lacking those things, and without them this team will never go anywhere.

Edit:

Also, I wrote after last game that I would call for Gaineys head if he started Price, and so I really hope to see a new GM in Habsland next season... someone who doesn't treat Price as his Golden Boy.

I'd rather miss the playoffs and get a top 8 pick in this GREAT DRAFT then have my team limp into the playoffs and get embaressed first round.

Plus my team had NO expectations. Everyone knew we were rebuilding while montreal actually thought they could win a cup.

We've been decimated by injuries all season long so its no surprise we've struggled. Also knowing the leafs they'll make a bonehead pick as per usual and won't win another cup for another 40 years on top of the current 42 year slump. So yep!! Must be great to be a Leafs fan!

After seeing him against the Habs in his first game I knew the kid was going to be the future for the Caps in net.

Yeah because a 56/57 in two games and a shutout in your 2nd career playoff game as a rookie makes it seem that way right 8-).
