So would people trade Midds and Brogdon for the Nets pick, IT and Crowder? Just wondering.

Damn, the Cavs got the Brooklyn pick? This is great for Cleveland. If LeBron leaves now they'll at least have a nice consolation in a likely top 5 pick in the draft. I'd have probably done that deal with a middling first let alone the Brooklyn pick. Haha I'd suck as a GM.

So Love has to be gone right? Or do they expect one of Love/Crowder/LeBron to chase around SGs (especially Klay).

So do they bite the bullet and trade Lebron aswell and really load up? Of course they won't as they probably still win the east but it's worth a thought.

Yeah. I would.

You get:

One fun season with IT before you let him walk, or get something for him at the trade deadline.

Crowder has more value and is better than Brogdon.

The Nets' pick has more value than Mids because the top 5 in this draft looks to be absolutely insane.

I think this hinges on where you think that Nets pick lands. I'm not sure it's high enough to deal Middleton for as I don't view IT as an actual asset. One year and I'd let him walk.

probably play Love smaller minutes vs GSW. IT- JR - Crowder - Lebron - TT does a better job of switching

So by the middle of the season the cavs will probably have one of Wade/Melo and a net pick to throw around. That's one hell of a deadline.

Having Fultz, Butler and/or George, and Hayward looks so much better than what Ainge eventually did.

Most Cleveland fans think the plan is actually to flip the pick for someone (DeAndre Jordan and Marc Gasol being named) and go for it all.

I think that would be a huge mistake, but understand.

IT/Lebron/Crowder/Love/DeAndre Jordan

could be enough to hang with G.S. in the Finals

That lineup gets destroyed by the Dubs.

If they were willing to give up the brooklyn pick they should go for a 2 way guard like Conley over some bigs who will probably get played off the floor

Wow. Tip of the cap to Altman and co. That is more than maximizing Kyrie's value. IT is nearly as good as Kyrie, plus you get a tailor-made two-way role player in Crowder and a super valuable asset in the BKN pick. LeBron might stay after all. Watch New York or Chicago end up with that BKN pick for Wade or Melo now.

God this has been an exciting off-season. (I mean, for everyone but us)
