When Shaq is doing the things you see here offensively on a consistent basis and more efficiently then we can speak. Oh, i forgot. The dude couldn't and is now retired.

Not to mention providing DPOY-level defense on the other end, while Shaq couldn't even be bothered sprinting down court half of the time. Dude was slow-jogging his fat ass down the court while his team was defending fast breaks.

I am not saying that Giannis is better than peak Shaq especially if you factor career , playoff impact etc.

But for the sake of argument.

Current Giannis vs Prime Shaq comparison per 100 POS:

26 games in the season and Giannis somehow remains above 34 PER...

Bucks fans don't wanna admit it so they don't get labeled as biased, but they know what's up. I got their backs.

Giannis is an elongated peak D-Rob on steroids with a better handle/passing and a more dominant finisher in the paint. And this season he's improved his outside shooting on top of that. And i also believe it's a matter of time til he starts shooting better at the FT line too.

Of course Luka sprains his ankle right before they’re going to play Giannis and the Bucks. ****

I just wanted to say about Luka's injury thank god it's not something really serious. It's very painful to see such an amazing player (also a person) to go down like this. Him and Giannis will be the face of the league in the near future.

The most bonkers part of the numbers is that he hasn’t played 40 minutes once in that stretch and has played 30 or less 9 times. Giannis and the Bucks are managing their load by putting teams away in 36 minutes.

Yup.. Bucks are performing at an insane level now. Kinda wish KD was healthy. Would've been awesome to see that playoff matchup.

More kinda like Lowry flops on every possession.

Lol why is lowry relevant to this discussion?

Anyway Giannis gets far more favour from the refs than shaq. Dude was fouled way more than he committed offensive fouls. Giannis gets decent treatment.

Giannis gets beat up all the time, he gets hammered more without a call than any superstar I can think of. He has no calls that are flagrants on guys like Harden or Lebron or Kawhi. The only guy that really compares is Shaq.

I have Giannis with a nice comfy lead right now, Lebron second and Luka a close third.

Luka will be a future MVP I'm sure, for him to even be in the conversation in his 2nd year is incredible.

Bucks are playing at a level where every loss of theirs is a surprise. Mavs could beat them, ofc, but they'd be heavy underdogs

Kawhi has won 80% of his games this season, his team has lost to Pelicans and Bulls without him, he's 2nd place in NBA in DRPM and leading the clippers in points, beat Lakers without George even playing. I say we give kawhi the bill Walton MVP, play 62 games but still wins it.
