Obviously, the 9 players under contract will be back.
Among the remaining 6 players, I'd rank them in order of likelihood of coming back as follows:
Mathews
Neto
Len
Bonga
Lopez
Ish
Are we sure Bryant is coming back? Gafford is the future at center and that means next year might be Bryant's last year anyways (he's expiring). Why not look to see if we could trade Bryant for a wing with potential that is signed longer than just for one year?
Problem is I don’t think there is a decent wing available in the trade market for Bryant…even if we add a pick.
Honestly, trading Bryant (plus Hutchison) for Christian Wood is our best bet. At the trade board, a Houston fan suggested this trade. As incentives he suggested lowering a bit the protections on our 2023 1st round pick and swapping out 2021 1st 15th pick for their 24th pick.
I would seriously consider this trade. Imagine the Wiz today if we had Wood as our stating 4 or 5, in a playoff rotation with Gafford and Rui. Wood can hit the 3, put the ball in the floor, block shots. Can play the 4 or the 5. I bet Harris would not have such a good game when facing Wood and his length on D. Finally, picking 24th instead of 15th in this draft is not too bad as there are a few interesting combo guard players who are likely to be in that range: Butler and Tre Mann in particular. I am of the opinion that this team should target combo guards with strong 3 pt shooting in the next draft.
