Nah that one guy aint bringing any championship over the next 4 years. If there is a chance to still get KD and be a contender for the next 3 years and then rebuild, he will definitely take that option. He has seen the fruits in tbe Kawhi trade. Yes we can say we have less talent around KD but Barnes and Siakam and Fred are a great start, then he builds through trades and buyout candidates.

Masai would rather have KD and create the hype in the city which in turn makes the owners happy. Even if he doesn't win a chip in the next few years, contending in the playoffs holds high value for him.

Be curious to see what opportunity the Nets throw Cam Thomas way the rest of the season.

He is a bucket...and once teams have a scouting report on him, it should be interesting to see how he counters with defensive attention paid towards him. Also, it will be fun once KD gets back.

Cam Thomas showed last season he was going to get buckets.

lol it's a really dumb comparison. cam ain't perfect and his defense/playmaking would need to improve if he wants to really be a complete star, but he's a proven bucket getter who had to play behind the likes of kyrie/harden/kd for the last two years.

and this isn't even out of nowhere. he was hooping his rookie year too.

Yeeeeah faaaack lol he looks primed to drop another 40 burger like nothing, back to back to back...he's going nowhere.

I honestly wish we could've made a move for FVV for him earlier, this is a coming out party now. All that has to be going through their minds is f*ck Fred, give us OG or Pascal. That kid will be our spark plug and we'll compete!

Cam’s the next Jordon. BKN should just trade KD to us and build around Cam. They know him better than any other team or fan.

Lets do it, send us KD , and Nets can build a core around Can, OG, Trent. Then all these Cam fas can go be BKN fans

Flash in the pan. Probably all blood doped out with a heart racing 180bpm at rest. Not enough has been shown to really evaluate where he is at. It looks good, but a lot of things look good when you been sippin steady for the 10 days leading into deadline.

GM's don't evaluate players based off a week sample size lmao.

They'll include Cam Thomas in a trade in a heart beat if needed.

what he provides is everything we've been missing off-the-bench for the last two years. if they were ever serious about building on this team they should've bought low on him. but i guess nurse would never play him with his defense.

I was having to point out how stupid people were comparing Cam to Dion Waiters and Terence Davis like...seriously? They haven't heard of him and just took any inefficient chucker in a 6'3/6'4 size comp...and now sound dumber than ever.
