Smh this team has young talent in RJ and Mitch no bad contracts cap space and all their picks plus those teams can make those types of moves due to the talent they had if there is no deals to be made then what more do u want them to do?

I didn't know having only two potential player who aren't starter lvl yet means good future lol in that case Knicks are bottom in the league.

Rose already made a move to trade up and people acting like he's sitting on his thumbs not doing anything

I think it was a horrible move to trade away the 38th pick to move up just 4 spots. Obviously they plan on using the 8th and 23rd pick to trade up in the top 5 or they wouldn't of made the trade for 23rd until Utah was on the clock and a player they wanted was still there cause that would be stupid.

I'm with the people that think this draft has good talent in the 20's and 30's and we only have 7 players under contract so to go from 3 picks to 1 is absolutely silly to me. I know there was news of the Knicks wanting to buy another 2nd round pick so if they end up trading 8 and 23 for a top 5 pick then i sure hope they buy at least one other pick somewhere in this draft.

I get holding 38 for that crack at the better guy who would be a UDFA, but they'll be some good UDFA's to get too.

Yeah i'm definitely speculating but why would you trade up 4 spots before you even know if a player you want is still sitting there? There could be 2 or 3 players you like still sitting there and then there's really no need to trade up to 23 cause your chances of one of them making it 4 more picks is pretty good.

For me i'd rather keep the 3 picks over 2 cause we need so much damn help on this team that every pick counts. If we moved up into the teens then that would make me feel much better. I hope we keep 8 and 23 and make the picks but i really think they're gonna get this trade up they're looking for. If they do then whoever they pick better end up a star level player or we'll be hearing it from the sports media world, but i guess we're used to that.

p.s. that assumes they are eventually better than 16 in the next 4. they might not be.
