Exactly. Her next step is to be more aggressive scoring wise when she drives into the paint. She has a habit of driving hard, but doing nothing with it to score. She did it twice today. A pull up out of the drive might be her game.

Indy shot 61% from the field in the first half and is down 5. Rotten defense, can't pick up the loose balls, turnover after turnover. That's a young team for you.

I'd love to see Coach Sides bench Clark for a few possessions when she goes back to back bad turnovers. She loves her risky passes but that 2nd quarter was just bad.

Backcourt violation. Dribble off the foot. Offensive foul. Travel. Bad pass. Are there any more ways to make a turnover? I think she found them all.

OK, I forgot stripped of the ball by a defender. Add that one to the list.

Shot clock violation, 5 second violation, 10 second violation incoming second half.

I think we just saw 3 back to back to back travel calls in this Fever game. Dream travel, Fever travel, Dream travel lol

Playing much better now, this is fun, but they still can't pick up a loose ball.

Dream have had 14 more shots on goal because of offensive boards and less turnovers.

I'm watching Aces-Liberty. NY was up a million points a few minutes ago but Vegas has stormed all the way back. Great game.

Edit: Liberty hold on for the win.

Liberty should be embarrassed by that 4th quarter despite the win and even without BLH (hope she's okay, but Vegas didn't have A'ja the entire game).

I've never seen her look like this before. Indy was awful for 25 minutes, then woke up and played fun ball for the final 20 minutes.

She is a bully in the paint! I love when she plays at the free throw line and plays the 2 man game with Clark or Mitchell too.

Strange game though for the Fever where everyone looked off their games. Clark was terrible at times for stretches.

MDB, I know your Liberty will be safe if the Sky hang on to that 8-seed.

But man, Chennedy is a nightmare for any team to defend (not that the Wings would be a good team to do it).
Spoon has had a hard time finding minutes for Izzy this year, and she sure looked good with extended run.

Chennedy cementing what I think we all know, that she is the most valuable player on the Sky. No Carter, no points. With Mabrey gone, the Sky is pretty much devoid of other scoring options, aside from the occasional Reese beast mode performance.

I would agree, though I'm biased because I just love Chennedy. I generally root for underdogs and I love a good redemption story.

There are so many wonderful storylines in the league this year, and Chennedy saving her career is right up there.

And Spoon, while she certainly hasn't done a perfect job in her first season, what she's done for Chennedy (and in return what that's done for the Sky) is just awesome.

The offense has obviously struggled and they are lost without Chennedy, but they do have some pieces. It's just never consistent. Allen and Dana Evans both have had some nice stretches. Izzy always seems to play well. Diamond gets hot sometimes, like last night. Michaela seems like an awesome 2-way player when she gets rolling.

But yeah, all season long, when it goes to hell, just have Chennedy put the defense on their heels and get a bucket or feed somebody else.

Every team needs a solo act. As a longtime Bulls fan, I can assure you that the triangle offense of the Nineties did not always operate according to plan. Against elite defenses, particularly in the playoffs, it would sometimes get stagnant and predictable. In such cases, Phil went to Plan B. Give Mike the ball at the top of the key, spread the other four players, and let Mike either skin his mark for an easy basket (every 1v1 battle for Mike was easy) or, more likely, pass to an open teammate when the defense collapsed. Unsophisticated and entirely dependent upon superstar skills -- but it worked.
