It would be hilarious to me if we brought back both winslow and whiteside on vet min deals for this season. More realistic targets right now feel like george hill and danny green, both solid defenders and shooters looking to play for a competitive team.

I actually see that signing as a positive for us. It removes the temptation of a bad fit and we can look at the remaining bigs after the Demar situation is resolved. I wouldn't mind one of Kanter, Bradley, or Hernangomez on our team if we are having Yurtseven take the two way route.

I do think it a little funny that drummond is now embiid team mate given the grief they have given each other over the years.

.....I am puzzled by people giving our FO props. Riley is done. He's proven it yet again. This team's ceiling is a second round exit.

Then go find another team. I'm not thrilled with the Lowry signing because he's old, but we've been one of the best teams in the league since 1995. Over and over again we've gone to the playoffs and the finals. We've been right up there with teams like the Lakers and the Spurs.

Riley deserves the benefit of the doubt. He's forgotten more about basketball than most of us will ever know and he's still pushing for rings...

If I'm reading reports correctly, only the Thunder and Kings have more than $10 million to sign Nunn.

The Kings probably don't want a PG. If the Thunder want Nunn, can we arrange a S&T to unlock the protections on our pick? What's the downside for the Thunder? This would enable them to sign Nunn to a deal under $12 million.

If the pick is unlocked, we can potentially use it in trades. We can also try to work out a deal for DeRozan if the cap space teams don't want Nunn.
