Charlotte has been a fun watch this year so far. Adopting them as my 2nd team.

The Nets and the Pistons look like they wont be competing with us in the tank war.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 5
Jokic currently ranks 4th in pts/gm, 1st in rebounds and 1st in assists. He ranks 9th in steals. How is this even possible?
Oh yeah, and he is posting a .656 TS% which ranks 4th among guys averaging 20 pts/gm or more (Durant, Powell and Garland are ahead of him).

The game is too easy for him. Mindboggling. This is truly a great era to watch basketball. Greatest pure shooter ever in Stef. Paradigm breaking Big in Jokic. And the prolonged HOF careers of LeBJ. KD. Etc. Overlapping with the dawn of the Unicorn era in guys like Wemby and Chet. On any given night you can see miracles.

Watson made 6 3s in the last two games. Braun is averaging 16 ppg with high efficiency. If those two start scoring consistently that will be a game changer because they are really tough defenders.

And he was having such a great season too!
Frankly, his injury is not surprising given his lack of size. The remarkable thing is that he played 82 games last season while giving up 40-50 pounds to his matchup every night.

I'm sorry to hear this. I've been rooting for OKC to take over in the west.
Without Chet, that's not going to happen.

big loss but they still have Isiah Harthenstein- hurts their chances but they are still in a great position to make a run in the West, assuming IHart comes back healthy.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 5
The Atlanta Hawks as a 15-point underdog beat the Celtics in Boston.
Trae Young didn't play.
Dyson Daniels (age 21) had 28 points.
Jalen Johnson (age 22) posted 21 points/13 rebounds/10 assists

It seems like the Jazz and the Wizards are the only ones who understood the assignment this season.

Bickerstaff was running that offense like it was the mid 1990s. Atkinson probably tweaked a few things and opened everything up for them.

They are pushing the pace more. I heard in practice that they had an 18 second shot clock.
DMitch isnt dominating the ball as much.
