Because this is MLB we don't have a choice to make with Brice. We'll have to trade him. Whether that's the right decision doesn't matter, there is no decision to be made.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

no doubt about it. I dont know how brewers keep on hitting with these international prospects but i am loving it.
brewers love being aggressive with their prospects, could we see him opening in double a next year?

That’s a good thing. He’s going to be 30 starting his next contract. If there was a salary cap or better revenue sharing maybe the Brewers would be tempted to pay top of the market, and that would be stupid. It’ll be the same thing when Chourio finally hits free agency.
Hopefully they lock up Made and Pena for a decade. What can’t happen is losing either of those two in the 25-26 year old seasons.

I still don't like not having a choice. Made and Pena are most likely the real deal but so many top minor leaguers bust out.

The streets are full of former top brewers prospects that have failed.

I was just thinking they may put him in double a to start next year since they are usually aggressive with their guys.

Any top prospects have a shot at the majors next year, either out of spring training or sometime in May/June to save a year?

Re: 2025 Brewers Minors/Prospects thread - Andrew Fischer - FRP
Hot Sheet.
12. Eric Bitonti, 3B, Brewers
Team: Low-A Carolina (Carolina)
Age: 19
Why He’s Here: .476/.633/.714 (10-for-21) 3 R, 2 2B, 1 HR, 5 RBIs, 9 BB, 4 SO, 0-for-1 SB
The Scoop: Bitonti, a physically-gifted hitter whose swing is engineered to do serious damage, brings a rare and imposing combination of size, strength and lefthanded raw power. He generates easy carry to all fields, with the kind of natural leverage and bat speed that can’t be taught. What makes his profile especially intriguing is the underlying discipline. Bitonti doesn’t sell out for power, instead showing a patient, measured approach at the plate that allows him to identify pitches he can drive. (JC)

Anyone who spent much of the year in AA has a shot. But in terms of prospects, I would go:
Start the season:
Logan Henderson
Craig Yoho
Rober Gasser
Jeferson Quero
May/June
Blake Burke
Coleman Crow
July/August:
Brock Wilken
Cooper Pratt
Tyson Hardin

Re: 2025 Brewers Minors/Prospects thread - Andrew Fischer - FRP
Good stuff.
Now [Made's] headed to Biloxi, where he’ll play alongside another premium shortstop prospect, Cooper Pratt (Brewers No. 3, overall No. 51), who was the Brewers’ Minor League player of the month for August.
“It’s an opportunity for him to be with a team that’s competing for the postseason, and any time a kid can get that experience, it’s a net positive,” Kleine said. “He more than held his own in High-A, so part of it is, ‘Why wouldn’t we continue to challenge him?’ He’s physically healthy and there’s no red flags behind the scenes as far as his season being so long for an 18-year old. So why not allow him to step into that next environment?”
It’s something that player development officials across baseball debate all the time. When is the right time to push a prospect? And when is it better to leave them in place?
“Everybody has their own opinions, and we have a lot of detailed conversations about any decision of any consequence,” Kleine said. “Nobody is out of the loop. We meet multiple times a week as a small group and talk about everything from Major League pitching planning to promotions at the Minor League level to staffing -- everything that goes into running an organization. I think we do a really good job of communicating internally, and taking the positives or negatives of any decision.
“[When an organization promotes a prospect] it’s like a reward, right? You never want a player to feel like, ‘I’m stuck here no matter how I perform.’ You want him to have something to aspire to. As a player, you want to be in control of your own destiny. You want to know that if I perform, I’m going to get to take the next step. I think it’s important we never lose sight of that.”

Hoping Made gets to play as much third base as possible and start to build chemistry with Pratt
Do it for Chuck
