When you have the Best Starter and Closer in baseball, you have a good chance of winning the World Series...

Dominating!

Not a chance. But, Good Win, though!!!
42-13, Patriots.

You're completely wrong. Football is more popular than basketball and Maye looks Bradyesque.

I get that football is more popular than basketball.
But until Maye is winning in the postseason, he's not going to be more popular than Tatum.

Boston loves winners.

Exactly.
Cue some Duck Boats for the Patriots, and we'll talk about it.

The WNBA CBA Deadline is Oct. 31, 2025.
Negotiations are stalled.

Players want (and deserve) a bigger piece of the pie, that they bring in.

Not if Aaron Boone is the manager LOL. What was he saving Fried for, the offseason? But hats off to the Sox for making the MFY's pay.

So apparently "Skinny Luka" is actually 14 pounds heavier than he was a year ago...

Lakers have him 244 lbs:

Last year at this time the Mavs had him at 230 lbs :

With what the Lakers have now, they are irrelevant!

Their top 3 players are all bad on defense.

Lebron is not the defender that he used to be.

Reaves can be hunted all game long.

And we all know Luka is a traffic cone on defense.

No one with a brain thinks the Lakers will be any good. They're the Dallas Cowboys of the NBA.

Drake Maye !

Friends, I think The Pats have finally found the heir apparent to Tom Brady.

What a field goal, what a win ! Loved it.

Always great to beat The Bills.

All the trade talk posts between Houston-Boston after VanVleet went down has got me interested to see Reed Sheppard tonight in the Rockets preseason game on League pass. I think I'll check out the Rockets tonight, at least put it on the TV even if not giving the game my full attention. Also curious if JD Davison gets some run.

Football is more popular but basketball players are more well known because they don’t wear helmets. The average basketball fan can recognize Tatum, the average football fan doesn’t know who Maye is, it will be that way even if Pats win the chip. It’s going to take a lot more than that. If you put either guy in a lineup and ask non sports fans who they recognize out of Brady and LBJ, I’d bet good money they’d probably pick LBJ more. I bet more people know Tatum than Mahomes.

I could be wrong. It simply feels to me, if you aren’t a GOAT QB, top rb, or receiver, the fans of your team are the only ones who know you.

Y’all are talking Boston sports, so if that’s the criteria, I’d probably have to agree. As far as in general, he’s going to have to win multiple chips with many endorsements.

JDD had 17/3/4 in 22 minutes for the Rockets tonight ... Happy for him having a good game but bummed it's not for our team

It’s only preseason.

I’m conflicted, I want him to be very good, tear the league a new one, but I also don’t want it. If he’s a good player, my belief in him (Brad’s drafting) was justified. However, if he’s good, we were paying him pennies, and we never played him even when there was no one else available. If he’s good, you could still resign him for a song, HELLO cap space!

Yeah, I don’t know how to feel. I’ll just TRY stick to wanting the best for him, because he isn’t a bad person, and he didn’t do anything wrong to us.

Joe better hope he isn’t any good, because I’ll be p’d at him.
