But most likely with Stevens it will be off of system play. Of course when plays break down, or good defense is played, you hope for guys like Thomas, Hayward, and now Tatum to be able to create their own shot. So it's a plus to me.

If he does nothing but iso's and post ups, against Stevens' will or desire, then you have a problem. But I doubt that happens.

Good stats

How was he getting his buckets?

3's and free throws. Needs to work on his post game/mid range. But I'm confident that'll come with experience and strength improvement.

Ya he had 0 problem with buying into K's system at Duke. When the offense was clicking he had no problem playing great team ball offensively and when the offense would sputter and Duke needed a basket, he had no problem going ISO and getting a bucket that way. I have 0 doubt he will buy into Steven's system.

How did Jordan Bell look out there? Sure had an insane stat line. This rookie class looks fantastic.

Also do we honestly think Lonzo ducked out of a summer league game cuz he was scared? Really? I'd be disappointed if that were true but I honestly don't believe it is lol, seems a bit ridiculous, I'm sure he wasn't 100% and the team decided to hold him (and Kuzma) out, we are being really cautious, shut Ingram down for the Summer cuz of cramps, and because Summer League doesn't matter...

John Collins dominating again. No idea how he slipped to #19.

I wouldn't say he slipped, this year's draft was just really deep. But yeah, he's looked great so far. I wonder if he'll play PF or C his 1st year.

Would have loved him next to Turner. Disappointed the Pacers didn't draft him.

I think Collins slipped because he was thought of as a 3-4 tweener. But damn he's been impressive. Budenholzer is gonna have some fun with this kid.

Cook and Diallo continue to play great basketball

Collins continues to be the most impressive player I have seen for any period of time.

John Collins would have been a sure top 5 pick ten years ago maybe even 5. The game has changed.

His mid range game looks really nice...and he seems SUPER athletic...Looks like a guy that can run the floor too and protect the rim. Were there any red flags that caused him to slip that much?

Yep, similar story here. He was my most wanted player for Portland (despite being confident he'd be available by #26). Last year it was Hammons, Brogdon, McCaw and Gary Payton II probably in that order.

Blazers are in a good spot with Caleb and Zach Collins. Caleb looks like he should be able to beat out the crappy guys vying over that starting PF spot right now. Eventhough Noah is still very young.

I'm very happy with our draft, but Bell as the icing on the cake would have made it a perfect draft in my eyes!

I think there was a report on him that there was a non-health related concern but I wouldn't say that's what caused him to get picked at #19.

He slipped because he doesn't have a position in the NBA. Undersized and doesn't protect the rim at center, can't space the floor at power forward.

Jordan Bell continuing his good play. Following up his 5x5 game with aa 6 point, 16 rebound, 3 blk, 1stl game. Not much of an offensive player but damn is he an athlete and he can definitely fill up the stat sheet everywhere else.
