I regularly masturbate over Giannis but even I couldn't have pictured the destruction tonight.

He played 11(!) minutes less than AD for 2 less points.

Gotta respect Giannis. Gets blasted for not having a jumpshot in the PO, basically told everyone he was going to get a jump shot, comes back with an improved jumpshot and respectable 3 point shot, and then proceeds to completely own the league despite his team throwing away talent..

Some guys just have that will to be great..

I don't believe most people have realised the greatness of Giannis Antetokounmpo

It isn't about his basketball skills.

It's about his attitude . He keeps pushing and pushing until you are done.

Giannis surely by a decent margin here. The guy's performance so far is flawless. Team record, boxscore, advanced metrics, leadership. He has everything.

The rest of the candidates need to lock in and stay in this. You are not leading, but at least keep yourself in it. Just stack up Ws, don't fall behind too far. As long as you are in it, you always have a chance. One insane month of performance then game back on, because the recency bias will always work to some extent, and statement games in March and April bear more weight.

However if you drop too many Ws before Feb, then it's pretty much game over because you know the Bucks will likely have 60+, and you at least need 55-ish or you get crushed by the usual "best player best team" thingy.

I hope the race doesn't finish by Feb.

Hbk really leaning into his pro Kawhi anti every other candidate agenda durin Bucks vs Lakers today....

Something that no one in the media will mention today is that Giannis played 11 minutes less than AD and check their stats.
