on edit: and it never crossed my mind to take back a smaller contract so in essence the team picking it up would pay less...i cant wait to do that move in the future :wink:

TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Detroit Pistons have agreed to trade Jae Crowder and a 2022 1st round draft pick (From Chicago) to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Eric Gordon.

This one is interesting. I would have assumed Anfernee was untouchable.

I'm not sure Simons is ever going to truly break out in Portland as long as he's backing up Dame and CJ. I like him a lot though but it might be a while before he truly comes into his own and reaches his potential.

I also like the fact that Reid is locked up on a rookie deal for at least 3 more years. Now I don't have to worry about resigning anybody except Clarkson next summer

Max FA Bid- $831

Good lord! Ok, All free agents are going to Detroit. Every single one of them. They have enough money to pay the big names, sign the role payers, start a d-league team, and give to charity.

So whats the gameplan after you trade eric gordon along with some draft pick comp and have $900 of cap space? About to spend in FA while Greenie actually left you with a decent FA rating?
