You don't know what Morey will or will not do. He just drafted a kid that shot 29% from three in the first round that will probably never shoot beyond the 34-36% range in the NBA.

I know Morey traded for Seth Curry and not Gary Harris like you wanted.

Yeah, Daryl makes a lot of mistakes.

That’s a good team on paper. Interesting to see how they mesh two star bigs.

Murray - Harris - MPJ - Blake - Jokic

Everyone can run point. That is a fascinating team

Not to mention they landed R.J. Hampton who in the very least can be a Zach Lavine-esque scorer off the bench and at the very best could be a legitimate star player in the NBA.

If I’m following this correct Grant is staying in Denver, so is Blake to Denver not likely?

Grant and Plumlee are both going to Detroit.

Sorry. I read shams tweet wrong. I thought he reported that Denver matched the offer sheet for Grant.

I didn’t read it wrong. He tweeted that denver matched the offer sheet. Then tweeted Denver WAS WILLING to match the offer sheet.

Offer sheet? Grant isn't restricted, though.

EDIT: NM, I see the tweet that DEN was willing to give him that money as well, but Grant wanted to leave for an expanded offensive role.

Yeah, it was that Denver was willing to give him the same amount, but he chose Detroit to expand his offensive role.

So not only is Detroit paying Jerami Grant $20M a year, they're also getting a version of that expects to up his usage significantly... Yikes

Jokic and Murray need to lock Jerami in a room like the Clippers did with Jordan back in the day. Bad contract, but they need him to be able to matchup with teams.

Why do you give Jerami Grant this elevated importance to the Nuggets?

Good for him for improving his shooting, but he still kinda sucks. He's just an athletic weakside shotblocker that can't guard anyone.

Bucks/Pels deal for Jrue is expanding. Hope we're the other team and getting Hill out of it.

Because now they have a pretty huge hole defensively in terms of big wing defenders, in a conference where they have to go through Kawhi and Lebron, and no real means to replace him.

I'm assuming that Michael Porter Jr. is going to become a 30 minute player, going forward. He's a tremendous defensive talent at that size range. Also, it shouldn't be hard to retain Torrey Craig if they want to retain athletic shot contesting, defensively. Also, Keita Diop possesses that shotblocking skill and has been in the rookie oven for a few years. Maybe he's about ready to contribute.

Yeah big hit for them. Not sure who the obvious team to step up is though? Clippers should be trying like hell to get Gasol.

Dallas' group might just try to outscore everyone.

Lol wtf? Porter Jr. was terrible defensively.

Someone just asked who will guard LeBron and Kawhi, and two of your answers were MPJ and Keita Bates-Diop.

Flagged.

Clearly the Sixers have one more "big" (most of MLE big) piece to add. I would prefer another forward, wouldn't surprise me if it was Reggie Jackson or some other guard though.

As if Jerami Grant could? Grant is a terrible defensive player. He's just another Aaron Gordon, defensively. Athletic weakside shotblocker that can't guard anyone.

Craig and Diop can't guard anyone, either, but they can block shots from the weakside. So same defensive skillset as Jerami.

Porter is a legitimate defensive talent. You'll see in due time.
