That's the roster if RJ/Evan/Deuce(?) go out. If it's just RJ/Evan then Deuce stays obviously. Some holes to fill.

I always was in favour of sending Rose as the salary filler instead of Evan. (Actually, I've said that so much that thebuzzardman has it imprinted on his brain.) I think that makes even more sense if RJ is in the trade. (And Rose and RJ are sufficient cap-wise for Mitchell.) It's not that I don't rate Rose - I do and I think Danny can flip him for a pick - just that keeping Fournier's shooting makes much more sense if the Knicks have Brunson and Mitchell and he can fill some minutes at SF (maybe???). Otoh, Thibs and politics may make Rose unfortunately untradeable.

Beyond that, the Knicks are short-staffed at SF even if they keep RJ and Cam, imo.

Ofc, I'm on record of wanting the Knicks to trade RJ so they don't have to figure out what to do with him in a year's time, so trading him (and an expiring) for Mitchell would be pretty ideal, because Mitchell could be flipped without problem in a year's time.

Grimes was far more efficient than RJ last year, albeit on lower volume.

FG% doesn't measure efficiency, TS% does. Come on now, this is pretty basic.

If this deal isn't done in 2 weeks, Leon needs to stop Ainge's madness, declare he's starting the season As-Is and watch the Utah turmoil ensue as Mitchell has to drag his a$$ into camp after this saga. My money says Danny will flinch and stop playing games. Teams are not going to up their offers and while I think Donovan had an understanding behind closed doors that he would be moved, he'll start to publicly show it when Danny f*cks up the deal. It's f*cking ridiculous that the Knicks come to the table for the deal, Danny came to the table for the kill, and now the Lakers show up to the table for the scraps. So we now have to wait for those 2 parties that want blood to calculate their moves? Mark your line in the sand Leon!

That's not what the trade was about. KP's putting up monster numbers in the tournament. KP impacts the game much more than RJ has or will.
