Denver will steamroll Miami, talent gap is even bigger than this series

In the end the real finals was vs Phoenix

We keep waiting for the classic steam roll on Miami, hasn't happened yet. Spo has been successful and containing Jokic in the past with schemes during the regular season, don't be surprised if he doesn't fill the box score as pretty as he has been in the last three series.

Joker doesn't care if he score 1 point as long as he makes the right basketball plays to get the win.

We weren't winning crap without Lebron being the guy either way. AD isn't good enough to be the lead on a team.

He cant do it anymore. Also our coach sucks.

I like this team though heading into next season minus DLO and Ham hopefully.

people talking about Lebron's legacy this and that. Dude is damn near 40 he ain't got **** to prove anymore.

Ham is legitimately good. No other coach in the league has been as aggressive as he has with adjustments and they've generally worked well. He can't make the Lakers hit the open shots they've missed all series. Sometimes the other team is just better.

I owe Denver an apology. I gladly eat crow on this one. I predicted the Nuggets wouldn’t win a road game this series. Lakers have been fantastic at home and I didn’t think Jamal Murray had it in him. I was wrong. Murray’s been huge and they finally have a reliable 3rd scoring option in KCP. Congrats Denver fans, that’s an impressive road win. Don’t blow it lol.

Lakers treated the Warriors series as the chip and had nothing left for the Nugs

i gotta believe we would've at least taken a couple of games against the Nugts if not made it a 7.

Their defense has been good in two of three games and was solid in the first two rounds.

Bron was decent. Remember this team belongs to AD. He needs to be criticized more. He is supposed to be up there with Giannis, Curry, Luka, etc, and yet he has only looked like a superstar half the time in the playoffs.

Overall, it was a minor miracle the Lakers even got to here after that horrendous start

Not even mad it was Jokic, Murray and the Nuggets

Just too much firepower

Would actually be a great NBA Finals though.

Unless you weren't born yet, we did see it in 1999.

Oh yeah, I forgot that the Spurs were the #1 seed that season.

I've always said that had the 1999 season been the full 82 games, that Knicks team would have probably been the #4 or #5 seed. So they weren't really a true #8 seed IMO.

Denver's just the better team, or at least has been.

LA is tired. They have to go with their Core Four a lot (Reaves, LeBron, Rui, Davis). That wears guys out.

Denver has 6 guys who can play. LA really relies heavily on those 4.

Its funny.. Silver did whatever he could to keep this game close. It was so obvious. He hates Denver cause they aren't flashy and don't bring in ratings. Its so 2007 Spurs. Denver should have won by 30 tonight

The Lakers are a legitimately great defensive team. Denver has made hero shots all series (not shade) and the Lakers have missed many of their open looks and rim attempts (not an excuse). Denver has simply outplayed the Lakers.

That said, lets chill on the dynasty talk.

those are their shots, if folks would hav bothered to watch them during the rs they would know that. no heroics involved :)

we kept hearing how Jokic's defense caps his output in the playoffs and is why he shouldn't be MVP

it turns out that Embiid was exploited more on D while being completely shut down offensively, every game is a 1 assist 4 To game with horrible efficiency but on the other hand a Jokic led offense (with good pieces around him) - cannot be slowed down, not even by an elite defense

I guess that's why MVP's are usually more offense oriented?

offense > defense, especially in the modern NBA

Bro get some help. Nothing has changed with how the MVP vote looked.

And if anything Embiid narrowed the gap with how he played in the playoffs.
