:lol: WTF is this? The NBA doesn't test for herpes! :lol:

The stat quoted earlier is correct. A majority of the American population has the herpes simplex virus, however for many people it liess dormant and they may never even know they have it.

50 percent to 80 percent of U.S. adults have oral herpes. According to the National Institutes of Health, about 90 percent of adults have been exposed to the virus by age 50. Once infected, a person will have herpes simplex virus for the rest of his or her life.

Nice to hear. Fresh starts are always nice. Melo era is finally over, and this organization can move on and do things right, and most importantly, with patience.

Nobody gonna die over genital herpes either but you still wouldn't want that schit.

Bottom line you can try to sweeten it up with a pet name ("cold sore") all you want. It's still a nasty variant of the herpes virus that once it is contracted cannot be eradicated from the human body.

Just cuz so many people have it doesn't make it anymore desirable.

I don't think Herpes Simplex 1 (oral herpes) is considered an STD technically, because you don't necessarily need to have sexual contact to transmit it - but obviously it is transmittable via sexual contact, too. But yeah, the stereotypical cold-sore-on-the-lip from hooking up with someone who had a breakout is what that stat is talking about.

...and yet that's not what we're talking about. Cold sores(which are still nasty as fuq) and chicken pox are not the same as the STD. Please stop bring up those stats. Talk about the STD herpes. Not the stuff a 2 year old gets.

Not sure what you're talking about - cold sores are herpes. 2 year olds with cold sores have the herpes simplex 1 virus.

Genital herpes is the STD or herpes simplex 2 (I think). The joking around about KP having herpes is simplex 1, the same as a kid would have.

It often gets transmitted from mother to babies during labour. Very common in Europe.

According to our doctors, everyone has oral herpes virus, but for most people it never shows up. It is NOT sexually transmitted disease, because you can infect others when you have the sore (e.g. by kissing, by using the same spoon etc.) It is called cold sore because it manifests when your immunity is low - during cold seasons mostly.
STDs are those which you get ... you know how. Oral herpes is not STDs. I am amazed at you Americans sometimes.

Yep. How could we forget anemia! Kampuchea forgot to add anemia to his list. KP was so off limits that he even dared to develop anemia as well!

I'm a Knicks fan, of course they care what we think.

How is the immature behaviour of KP not an issue?
-> He skips exit meetings
-> Runs away from team to have know-nothing brother training him
-> Develops lip herpes
-> Desperation to get girls on twitter
-> Tweets love for Clippers and pretends to be hacked
-> Afraid of fringe NBA talent Randolph
-> Can't hold license due to irresponsible driving

We really need to keep an eye on this dude. He isn't acting right and it should give any reasonable fan some worry that he doesn't have what it takes to be a star.

I'm sure I have forgotten some from the list.

You’re a single, irrelevant/misinformed fan without the ability to think logically in terms of creating a roster or the basketball knowledge to do so. You’re a molecule to them, that’s all. Don’t get you being a fan cloud your judgment and lead you to think that your opinion actually means a damn thing.

It’s clear you’re anti-KP, so your in the absolute minority here. That said, any attempt to troll will result in a suspension. I’m done here.

Not trying to argue with you, but aren't you worried at all about the way he acts? Speeding around and skipping meetings? You do not think he lacks maturity? And the Clippers tweet and hack?

These are all warning signs and if we (me, you and others) raise our voices in unison I bet they listen to us.

He actually sounded genuine about the Clippers tweet. I saw him saying this in a local latvian interview - he said that he and some of his friends were walking around when one of them was reading twitter and noticed that there's a lot of buzz about KP on twitter and then they read the tweet.

They mention it in here. He had a breakout during the Skills competition he won.

Congratulations on being the first one I have actually added to the ignore list. Had to look up that function after reading all of your nonsense for a while.

P.S. Go on and educate yourself - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herpes_simplex
There are two types of herpes simplex virus, type 1 (HSV-1) and type 2 (HSV-2). HSV-1 more commonly causes infections around the mouth while HSV-2 more commonly causes genital infections.

Rates of HSV-1 are between 70% and 80% in populations of low socioeconomic status and 40% to 60% in populations of improved socioeconomic status.

I've had HSV-1 since I was still a virgin. :D It rarely shows though.
