Right now it's 2017 PHI #3 and 2018 LAL 1st (if 2-5; otherwise, turns into 2019 SAC 1st).
No word yet on further moves but that's the expectation around the league.

Do you have a link for the 2-5 reverse protection. I hadn't seen that anywhere.

How good is the chance Silver stepped in? No no protection on both picks to Boston. Wouldn't shock me in the least.

That wouldn't make sense because if that's what the pick was actually worth and Silver turned it into this trade, then Danny should've just walked away. The drop off there is too enormous. That and I don't think they notify Silver of these things when they're happening live.

Just the throwing it out there. Worse part is Danny won't explain crap.

Yup I was trying to edit it. That Clippers pick is pure garbage yet people think it's great. It's F-ing lottery protected and better yet can become a 2nd!!

That's a great deal from Danny, great deal.

He got it for 2 2nd rounders.

Still trash. Has no value. Can't trade with them and you get a fringe prospect at best. Only slightly better than a second rounder. Better sure, but not worth much in the NBA.

Better to have it than not, but that's about it.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't see anybody claiming that pick is great. It could be a mid-late first rounder for a couple 2nds, or it reverts to a couple 2nds. No big deal either way really. The MEM one has potential since it ultimately becomes unprotected.

I still cant get over the fact that we will have to go through philly in a few years after giving them the piece that they desperately needed.

I dont see how you can make a trade with a division rival and NOT clearly win the trade. Maybe 14 years and 1 title means weve been overrating our dear GM a bit...

Not sure why trades can't be perceived as mutually beneficial. Why do some folks think Danny has to bend every GM over everytime? A lot of you have been spoiled. It's a fair deal, and we have the biggest upside. Especially if Danny pulls off 1&2 next year. Now that's a big if, but we got a shot. Tell me what other fan base wouldnt be excited at just that prospect alone? And if it's not, roll it back again with the '19 Sac pick. It ain't rocket science.

That said danny needed to get both these picks for trading down

Well apparently he couldn't so it's a likely star in the hand versus two in the bush. Lots of us are willing to pick the two -- me, because I think we can get a player close to Fultz this year at 3 and I'm tempted by the bigs in next year's draft and think LAL will still suck.

I haven't even accepted this trade yet to the point where I'm willing to acknowledge the existence of that pick.

Since its likely not staying here very long. Same with pick 3

Well it's a pretty big part of this deal that you've posted about probably over 100 times now, so it might be time to incorporate it into your understanding of what's going on. The names Porter, Ayton, Bamba, Doncic, and Bagley may not mean much now, but 6 months from now we'll be getting all worked up about them just like we did with Fultz et al -- and this time we might get two of them! (very much hoping Danny doesn't trade *those* picks)

How do you determine, right now, if someone has one this trade or not? Fultz hasn't played a game yet, IF Philly pics Fultz. The Celtics haven't drafted anyone yet.

Confusing

not every time... but when you just gave your division rival the piece they are missing you better make it a premium. ITs a very real possibility that we wait out lebron only to run into a loaded 76ers team we helped create.

They have 3 guys who have very real possibilities of becoming franchise players. The Celtics have zero.

I'll start believing how great these trades are when Danny starts turning all these nickel and dime "Assets" into even ONE franchise level player, just 1!

I guess he really wanted more assets and cap room to make a run at 2 stars, while keeping the future somewhat bright draft pick wise.
I'm just not sure who they'd prefer over Butler or PG. I think one of Griffin or Hayward is coming and one of Butler/PG is coming.

I don't know what lineup he's ultimately chasing here.
What line up matches up best vs the Warriors?
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.

Perhaps you misunderstand

Danny isn't keeping the pick so don't get attached to it

I've made that mistake already

Fultz + Embiid + Simmons = 31 GP

Really hard to say where they will end up

Oh god, I just thought if we don't make any moves we have to follow three teams next year!!! It was bad enough following the two!

But the Celtics, Nets and Lakers might just make next year too unbearable to follow!!!

Danny sucks bruh

He sucks for building a 50+ win team with potentially two 5 picks next year?

Bruh

Edit: I don't like the trade either, guys
