OTOH, this is deranged.

OTOH, regular visits to Madison for Bill Walton and invocation of the B10 as "The Conference of Champions."

In the realm of "conference realignment is inevitable", I absolutely love this. Those are two fantastic schools to add, and also meet the academic criterion the B10 likes to hold themselves to.

I hate it otherwise. But I've accepted the inevitable on this one.

EDIT: Having schools in New Jersey and California is LOL, though. Feels like B10 is positioning to be "the Northern conference", juxtaposed to SEC's "the Southern conference." Which it always sort of has been, but this kind of power move solidifies it.

I love 11 am football, that better not change.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

It's not going anywehre, need the timeslots all day. But I'd guess if the CA teams are playing road games they'll have it written their games aren't at 11 Central. I was just joking if that wasn't the case they'd have to be on at 9 am in CA while it's being marketed at B1G Noon.

Side note, I hate 11 am game since I go to the games so I hate the new Fox tv deal. Just watching at home on TV though, sure I get it, get it going and rest of the day is wide open. UW this year gets a flip to very few 11am games because the schedule is trash. It used to be a trash schedule meant 11am games, now if you play big matchups it gets put at 11 am for Fox. So you're biggest games all year in the whole conference are being played at 12/11 and losing the atmosphere that comes with afternoon/night games. When those are at home for UW that's a big advantage we're losing out on

Agreed, they won't make the Cali teams play early road games. And I agree that GOING to games, the 11 am starts suck. 2:30 is perfect at Camp Randall.

You're going to have a 24 team big ten soon enough. Might as well grab the best ones right away.

Go get North Carolina, Virginia, etc right away

They'll look to schools that offer football returns. Notre Dame is obviously the whale, but Oregon, Florida State, and Washington are gonna be big targets too.

Good for the Big 10. I think we'll eventually have two super conferences in the future

Hard to not like this IMO some fun matchups if UCLA and USC can get back on track.

What sport do you mean?

Lincoln Riley definitely will have USC on track in football

UCLA basketball is also just fine under Cronin.

Literally the last thing I remember about UCLA football is JJ Stokes and that was in 1993. How has that program been so trash for 20+ years?

Washington, Stanford.

That's the list from the shambles.
