You kind of have to wonder if Silver made the call or whatever and there is money thrown under the table. Silver was sitting on 100,000 BTC and transferred a portion which is untraceable to the Mavs to facilitate this...who knows.

If AD was actually a top 3 player the Lakers would have multiple rings with him. Instead they’ve lost 4-0, 4-1 in consecutive years.

Not including guards and wings who are clearly better players.

I doubt it. The Lakers don't care about LeBron's opinion on major moves. They ignored him when he begged to trade first rounders for like 2 years. Ignored him when he wanted to keep the team together after 2021. The best they did was throw him a bone drafting Bronny and that's something any NBA team would've done.

Seriously I am sure the Mavs could have gotten a much better package from a number of teams, but I assume it was decided that Luka will go to the Lakers and only the Lakers.

I want someone to bring this thread up when Luka raises the championship trophy as a Laker and the Mavs have crashed out early in the Playoffs.

This board this year on the RealGM board and Luka always top 3-5- no one believes you. People started the year thinking a healthy Luka is the second best player on earth after jokic surpassing giannis.

But the fact that you have AD ahead of Giannis and Luka means you are either 12 or 13 years old- but you are not serious about ball.
