The NBA only works because “GM/Coach” still has to answer to ownership, fans, & the all mighty dollar. This “sim” removes those realistic factors. Bish & the majority are okay with that?? Maybe I need to quit now

As they should. It's what makes the BAF experience the best thing on realgm, minus the used Sex dolls

I’m only going into my 3rd draft here but these are very specific/isolated situations and should be a serious “league-wide issue”… Eventually this “extremism” would effect everyone over a long period of time. Why ignore it now?

You think that's bad? Imagine being here for when they were starting Cs at PG and PG and Cs to tank.

The team with the worst record in the league dropped to 5 in the lottery last year just saying. While it’s a strategy it won’t always work in favor with the way the new odds work. those Not so bad but still bad teams that don’t purposely tank still have a decent chance at the #1 pick tbh

A good win against a full strength Knicks team. No Trae but Siakam put up 33/8/6. Okongwu had 17/6 and a block. I am going to take this win and run away like a scalded dog.

Good game J4remi/Knicks

I think sitting healthy players is wack but these hypertanks ain't gonna work for everyone. There are two can't miss guys but even they'll take a minute to ramp up in this game and then you still have to build a good team with a BS ranking. The tankers by and large have not taken over the games if you look at the top of the standings. Certainly not the western powers. Mpharris tanked but never had a top 5 pick iirc. Melo tanked but he took Bam and Tatum in the initial draft. Ayton has only helped. Hoffa might be the only true tank near the top and it took him four years to get a winning squad. I guess the Pacers had a little draft magic but they weren't even tankers.

So keep talking about Wemby and Scoot but if not.... then what? You might end up dropping a big extension to a player who you could get for $20 replacement value in free agency while milking the sunk cost teet of "potential."

I think we can empower Bish to take away tanking teams first round draft picks, if he deems they are tanking, he can give out warning first

Not true the tanks have been dominating for a while now. If you, E-balla, Hezi, Depalma, myself, Manhattan, Swiss, Hersport, NewEra, 2010, Soul, Pooch, Deez tanked we’d have super teams and a chokehold on the league too. It’s not about getting the 1-2 pick it’s about getting all the assets tied to a tank.

You’ll probably say it’s possible to build super teams without tanking- like the squad I built last season, or the way E-balla and Hezi are dominating this season. But that comes down to the skill of the GM, give us some tanking assets and it would be a wrap.

Idgaf what kinda legislation cats is tryna push for, it won’t affect me cuz I plan on competing next season. Like I said from the moment I found out a key acquisition of mine wouldn’t be in the sim — this is a throwaway season — a one-off.

Anyone tryna front like this 1-year rebuild I’ma pull off is just some sitting duck & tank for 3-4 years type schit is lying to themselves.

Sitting some of my players is just a small part of the process (that didn’t begin until early January). But don’t act like there ain’t a whole lot of work being put in too!

In my opinion you make the Block hot when you secure a top 3 player in the sim and then sit him on the first day. The Bro Fatboy was not subtle one bit lol.

Now the Tank Tactical Squad is Blitzing Fat Boy Block....

Fiends is complaining that the work is garbage as well.

secret indictments is coming.

Make Sure you got lawyer money Fatboy....

Sim basically forced my hand wit the banishment.

It’s like they knew I copped a brick and told me to go hustle down in Hamsterdam. So any legislation that passes won’t touch me cuz I’m yelling “contrapmen!”

So if a rule passes… Fat, me, or whoever else finna beat the case (unless they planning to keep doing it perennially) — which I’m definitely not doing. Which is why I was comfortable moving my 1st next year for Mitch.

There is a clear difference in terms of tearing down your team for future draft capital and longer term assets in turn tanking to roster manipulation and tanking. The former is very common in the NBA since you realistically can't have 30 teams competing for a chip.

I have had many of discussions about this at nuesiuem and nothing has changed so I just let it be if the league doesn't think it's a major issue. Do I think it's ideal for a the league no because you will start seeing what's happening now where does it stop? The back to back mvp runner up is now being rested to get a higher pick.

The potential knock of a bad FA rating doesn't seem like a deterrent.

Also, I traded away my best player for draft capital and youth. Not receiving any star player in return.

If sissy ass Hoffa is so butthurt that Klay’s getting rested or sat (as if he is some star player of Embiid’s caliber) — he is only 3 stars — then why when I put Klay on the market the offers weren’t rolling in?

If Hoffa so butt-triggered by Klay sitting, clearly I should be receiving some draft pick (or at least expiring contracts) offers to take him off my hands.

If he’s a negative asset (which Hoffa and the market has been telling me), then he don’t deserve to play.

Bottom line is, Fat needs to be shamed into playing Embiid.

 Shaming pretty much is the only way. If you don't have respect of your peers are you playing this game and spending all this time for what?

The reason FAT is getting **** for it is because he went public about it and has one of the best 5 star players. No one cares if you are sitting a 2.5 or 3 star vet since ultimately that won't have a major factor. You sit a huge name like Embiid, Luka, Jokic, LeBron throughout the years it obviously get attention.
