The league has cracked down on that when Lillard did it. Thats a no-no now.

I don't believe them Wingo.

These are rich millionaires. They will get what they want.

Lillard wanted Miami and got Milwaukee (“A disgusting city” lol)).

Bradley Beal reminds me of Larry Hughes. Talented but he's not concerned with anything but his paycheck, and that's his right. I just prefer players that like to get paid and win games.

Probably void the contract pursuant to anti-collusion provisions of the CBA.

Take with grain of salt, but just heard we’re making a serious push for Jimmy before the draft, OG could be involved in the trade, Leon doesn’t want to pay him his max. Would be our first OG, Sims, for Jimmy and there 2nd this year. Basic frame work, might involve a third team.

Yeah I don’t know. Leon and OG can’t agree on a deal right now, we’re not going to let him walk, a sign and trade is possible, would be the biggest L to let OG walk. Thibs isn’t going to play a rookie more than 8 mins a game, I’m over this OG stuff. I personally say just pay him, draft and trade for kuz and Deni. The Knicks don’t care what we think though.

I dont doubt someone told you this, but it is stupid for several reasons.

They had to have known that paying OG his max was a possibility before making the trade and OG showed his best self when he was on the court.

Jimmy is going to be looking for probably a max extension, and if not a max, prob something close to OG's number

It would also be an overpay to a team we haven't and don't trade with.

Doesn't pass the smell test

The knicks will pay him...this is just a leverage game. The Knicks don't have much leverage other then letting him see if another team will max him. If they do then we will have to max him and maybe give him the 5th year.

Supposedly… Leon is not happy, he thought that OG was going to take a deal closer to his number and had an understanding prior to trading kids for OG. Now OG has all the power, only move Leon has left is to either max him or trade him to highest bidder.

I hope it’s all bs and we run back what we have with adding a solid piece, but I’m also prepared for anything.

Would you guys have traded RJ and Quickley for Jimmy Butler?

Hey man, I could have been quiet about it, but just thought I’d share what I heard, not saying it happens. Take it with a grain of salt.

OG’s max on the open market is 182/4, and he’ll likely get that from NY, all the rest of this is noise.
