I think Cody is playing miles better this year than previously. He just seems to have figured it out. He's always been tough, but he used to get frequently abused when he'd go in for a dunk. That isn't happening this year. I don't know if it's that he's stronger, has learned when and when not to go for it, or that he's figured out the angles. Something.

I agree.

We focus (rightfully so) on Kemba's fantastic improvement but Cody really has improved just as much.

His rim running is sensational, his hands have improved drastically as has his willingness and success in finishing through contact. He sets great screens and reads them very, very well. He's even hitting that mid range J on the regular - not to mention that sweet little floater he's added as well now.

Cody's having a great season and working even harder now he's been paid (as opposed to slacking off).

His improvement is a huge reason for us playing so well this season.

Chalk another one up to the "Batum effect"?
