I also had him as a top draft prospect, mostly because of his numbers. His shot looked funny but it was not much of an issue in UCLA.

You have heard everything now about how hard it is for him to pull off that shot. But the guy is shooting 50+FT%. Its not just a shot mechanic issue but also a TOUCH issue.

Maybe I'm wrong. But bottomline is Lonzo ATLEAST needs 2-3 years to fix that shot with a good touch.

2-3 years and you aren't even sure if he'll turn out to be a good shooter. And even if he does turn out to be a good shooter, will he be a good scorer? If he ends up not being a scoring PG, that's like Rubio-Conley caliber? Poor man's Jason Kidd?

Now look at the bigger picture. Does your team's chances looks brighter if you rely the next 2-3 years on Lonzo or if you look at other avenues in the next 2-3 years?

If I'm the Lakers, maybe trade Lonzo to the Suns for their top pick or. Let Kuzma, BroLo, JC and Ingram play this year to entertain the fans.

If Lakers opt to hold Lonzo. They're basically be the same team now going to next year, and I don't know if thats healthy to the team and the fanbase.

They're not trading lonzo lol

I know. Its more of a hypothetical situation.

If they hold unto lonzo. I doubt Lonzo will be able to fix his shot mechanics and shooting touch by next season. They'll enter the season with likely the same team.

Dlo is clutch. Nice to see him playing well. Need to play better defense though.

He has been Lonzo-esque at the 3 point line.

lonzo’s gonna be a good player. he just needs to develop a midrange game. or a semblance of one. even if he doesn’t develop a midrange, he’ll still be a good 3 point shooter even with that form. i just wouldnt have drafted him in the top 5.

Was watching Dion Waiters close the game for Miami like Mariano Rivera. JoJo is not there yet. We need to continue to run our regular offense during crunch time. Joel's presence is more valuable than his one on one skills at this point. He'll get his. But he also helps others get there's when the ball is moving instead of stuck in his hands. That said, if all goes well, Markelle Fultz is built for that role anyway.

Watched the Boston game Howard is a good dude. Another teammate elbows Irving in his face and he's the first player over to try and help him up.

Only a matter of time before Ball got a triple double. This is just the beginning. He will ball out even better.

Hinkie blew it. We should have Porzingis. He’s an MVP candidate and may win it this season with his current play. He’s a beast.

You might wanna go celebrate on the Lakers board for a triple double in a loss, they are probably happy also.

One thing though, you might notice that his only other game like that was basically against the same guy, Eric Bledsoe.

If he could play Bledsoe every game he might be a Hall of Famer.

You repeat the same **** a lot. That’s why some assume that you’re trolling.

You posted that ‘Hinkie blew it’ by not selecting Porzingis about a week ago, those exact words. We know, we don’t need weekly reminders that we could have drafted him 3-4 years later.

Lonzo's defense has been the best part of his game which is funny since that was supposed to be the thing he had to work on the most.

he's going to be fine. Maybe not top2 fine but fine nonetheless.

Wow Lonzo became the youngest player to get a triple double at 20 years and 15 days. Lebron was 20 years and 20 days.

Those were some healthy assists. A few of them finished like 10 seconds after the pass and with a substantial amount of creating from his teammate.

Wow, Donovan Mitchell takes the starting spot from Hood and hangs 26 in 26 minutes for the Jazz in a win. Good for him; glad to see he's killing it over there.
