If Bamba is really a premium impact player in the middle the price may be expected be higher. We are in Billy King overpay territory. So this is a bad position we have ended up with. I would say it would be worth it to include a future unprotected first and #7 centered package if Lauri and Bamba would become a springboard for multiple ECF appearances over the next 10 years. But it's hella risky.

Bamba is getting way too hyped up. Nice prospect, hardly a can't miss one. I'd be happy if Chicago was able to get him but "premium impact player" is over selling it.

Trading up for Bamba seems nuts to me.

Unless trading up only costs you Portis or something. Or Dunn. Hmmmm I'm talking myself into this.
