Never hated him. Always thought he was a cocky douche and still do, but I've also always loved his play on the court and that's all that really matters to me.

Michael Jordan is probably the biggest "cocky douche" in sports history, but I'm sure all Bulls fans love him.

He's a quote machine. Unintentionally, of course. But thats what happens when everyone you know has been your lapdog since you were a freshman in high school.

But actually, the more hated he gets, the more I start to not mind him.

Exactly. As if being gay makes someone untrustworthy. This guy is living in his own world, which is to be expected considering who his mom is and his upbringing. Ironically, he thinks he is grounded and was raised well by Gloria.

its not just cuz of his ego. its his feeble attempts to suppress his ego while trying to say the right thing. he tries to project the same image that a-rod tries to project to the media, but he sucks immensely at it, cuz in reality hes' a giant douchebag.
it also doesnt help that hes not well-spoken. scratch that, the guy is pretty damn stupid. stupid people should realize that they are stupid and keep their words to a minimum.

i understand he only has a high school education, but with his life experience and the amount of media training he's had, he should at least be a little more articulate than a kid fresh out of high school.
