Love to get Davis he is the best player to get in the draft.
But I would be highly tempted to trade him to NO for 2 draft picks in the 4 to 9 range.
Getting a SF in MKG or Barnes with one pick
Moving the other pick to maybe Boston for 2 latter picks getting Kabongo and a SG.

If we're lucky enough to land the No. 1 pick I think I may be open to trading it to New Orleans for their picks. Grab a combo of Mller/Barnes and Lamb/Beal.

Wouldn't bother trading one to Boston though. I think if we're lucky, a Barbosa deal could net us a pick somewhere down there where Marshall, Wroten or Kabongo should be available. If not, we still have Ed who we could potentially deal and even Bargnani if we wanted (though I wouldn't personally deal him for a pick that low)

1) Davis (his elite defensive presence and improving offense)
2) Barnes (loves his offensive repertoire (jabstep, stepback, shotfake), excellent body control and solid D and clutch)
3) MKG (do it all factor, tough-minded kid, leadership)
4) Lamb (all around game, demar wishes he has skills this good)
5) Drummond (hate his motor but too much potential to ignore)
6) Beal (all around game, demar wishes he has skills this good)
7) River (killer-instinct, ability to break down defenders but still not liking his chucking, tunnel vision and poor defensive skills)

1st pick has to use on Davis. Outside of top 2 I pick Barnes for his offensive prowess. But I still think MKGs presence makes more impact to our team. I also dont mind picking a SG if its BPA (replace DD) and I will be upset if we pick Drummond.

Drummond should be 2nd at the minimum imo. This time has no deep post scorer. The Raptors would be blessed to have him.

I think Henson will be either the first or second best big coming out of this draft. Really do hope we acquire a few picks for this draft.

I think his problems articulating himself might be something GM's look down on come June. Not sure if thats good or bad though.

He looks to have a pretty developed post game and has an excellent face up game. If we were picking 6th and he maintained his play, I would not hesitate to pick him. A Val and Robinson front-court would be quite formidable indeed.

Really? I can never understand how a player with so much talent can lack a drive. If we end up with, say, the 5th pick again I have no idea who we would take. Drummond is going back for another year, gilchrist will be taken top 3 for sure, and Lamb reminds me of Derozan. I think I would be disappointed if we ended up taking Barnes.

Like I said, he can use those dribbles against high school kids who doesnt even play defense but not against defenders at collegiate level. Actually when he dribbles this season, he doesnt use his other hand to shield from defenders ...like literally everytime he really thinks he can just crossover someone thinking hes still in high school but everytime he does that he gets called for carrying as a result.

Maybe, but at the same time, it's obvious Quincy Miller hasn't had ample opportunities to showcase his handles because Pierre Jackson and A.J. Walton are the primary ball handlers. As a result, Quincy is left to play off-the-ball. The only thing I've seen from Quincy is that spin move heading to the left and the step back jumper so far. He's not even using the inside-out dribble and double cross, so something gotta give there when a player is known to be flashy isn't even showcasing that flash. And I don't buy that your handles don't work against better defenders.

This is what I'd like to see our board look like.

1) Davis (can't miss defensive captain, has potential to be a 20-10 guy)
2) Kidd-Gilchrist (leaves it all on the floor, SG version of Westbrook?)
3) Barnes (think he's probably a future all-star, too much game and great work ethic)
4) Lamb (Doesn't strike me as a number one option, but has a lot of skill. Seems to rise to the occasion)
5) Drummond (Massive potential, but looks lost and passive at times. Offensive skill was overrated)
6) PJIII (Great potential, but not a true position)

After this I'm disinterested.

7) Quincy Miller (seems like a Rashard Lewis PF to me, without the defense. Could be a major bust-O, but he's got some nice skills.)
8) Austin Chucker (over-hyped handle, poor athleticism, bad defense, but he could probably average 20 and might eventually figure out he has to play point guard in the NBA or he'll be a bench player.)
9) Thomas Robinson (again, I hate drafting tweeners, but he's putting up outstanding rebounding numbers)
10) Jared Sullinger (at this point, go with a sure thing that will provide intangibles and low-post scoring, not a great fit but BPA)

There are just so many **** teams this year, it is not fair. I am a really big fan of Washington, tank wise; they just really know how to suck. I just have this sinking feeling that once Bargnani and Bayless come back we will start to hover around sub-.500.

I'm liking a lot of the lists and the talent parity at the top is such that everyone's list will have some variance; however, I will say this, even though he has been underwhelming I still wouldn't be surprised to see Drummond go #1. The potential/ceiling is ridiculous if he could get his mind frame right.

At worst, he'll go #2.

After that I have Barnes, PJ3 and MKG very close to each other. Barnes is the safe bet but his ceiling is a bit lower than the rest. MKG is in a similar boat with more potential on D and less on O compared to Barnes. PJ3 is another guy similar to Drummond in that the potential/ceiling is ridiculous but there's some questions about his motor and the position he'd play in the league. I'm loving him as a SF (if he can defend that position in the NBA) and not so much as a big man.

So right now for me:

Davis 1a
Drummond 1b
Barnes 2a
PJ3 2b
MKG 2c

With Lamb just on the outside looking in. And really, you could rearrange Barnes/PJ3/MKG in any order you like and I'd be fine with it.

Lamb has more range, a silky smooth jump shot and already has more handles than Derozan. Aside from the dunk in the video, i don't see any similarities.

I didn't watch much college ball when DeRozan was playing for the Trojans but from what I've read, he had a great mid-range jumper.

Somewhat of K-Mart, I think he has his own game though. Silky/Smooth to the bone..but can add a little pizzazz
