Way to early to definitively say. All I am worried about is the Knicks playing better and better and better. **** everything else. If we continue to win our games, we will be fine.

But on the bright side, the Knicks will gain regardless of who wins. :D

I would be rooting for bucks.

We have to be more realistic- getting into playoff is our no.1 priority. There is no substantial difference between No. 7 or No. 8. If we can get No. 4, it is good. But there is no guarantee for playoff spot at this point.

Make sure that is being done, and for that reason I want Bucks to drop out of the picture ASAP.

too bad that ATL won last night... :(... no help by Irving! We need to be 4th in EC, not just 4th seed.

As for tonight, its better for us to root for Boston and Charlotte. Why? We need to win our division, and also need Boston in the playoffs to upset Miami and Chicago. But, if we see from fans perspective, it'd be very fun to see their Big 4 end in lottery! :)

? If we have to worry about getting into the playoffs first wouldnt you want the team that is right behind you (and that has as much momentum as the Knicks) to lose instead of the team that is in front of you by 3 games?

Celtics still have 3 games vs Miami!

looks at this stretch coming up for boston there will be plenty of losses in there!

stop looking forward. deal with today. we want to move up, we want the team above us to lose bottom line

dont forget late april some top teams will already be locked into their playoff spot and have nothing more to play for which is when they rest dudes, so "tough schedules" can be greatly over exaggerated.

I'm looking for Boston to pick up the W. We need some breathing room.

If we clinch the division title then we have better chances for reaching the EC finals and probably NBA finals!

1) 1st round vs Pacers => "very winnable games"

2) 2nd round vs Chicago/Boston/Bucks => we have our chances, especially with this kind of effort

3) EC finals vs Miami/Orlando/Phil => anything can happen

4) NBA finals vs Spurs/Thunder/Lakers => Tough; but we have to believe...

nah, don't want to give them a lottery pick.. they will just turn around and and some team will help ainge out by trading a big time talent for the pick.. I can see a gasol/kobe for lottery pick and ray allen....

I'll root for Bucks.

Our focus is not to keep 8th seed... our focus is to take the division, secure homecourt for 1st round, and annihilate the others in the division. Bucks are in different division, who cares what they do. Besides, eventually they gonna realize a chucker like Ellis isn't the most compatible backcourt mate for Jennings.

bad calculation... you should say: Boston win tonight and loose the next one... We need to catch Phil at some point. If we dont get that 4th seed, we are in big big trouble

Nope! :)... Ray Allen is unrestricted FA; so KG... ;) They can trade only Pierce and Rondo... But, i said to that its better for us to have them in playoffs. I just mentioned that from a Fan perspective as they are probably the most hated team by our fanbase! :)

i say we look ahead and losses for anyone in front of us is good. If we continue to play well, everything behind us will sort itself out.

Phil will be dead tired tonight. We saw some signs last night in that brain block at the end of game! :)

=> 4th seed on the horizon... ;)

Gotta root for Boston to lose. Not too worried about missing the playoffs with our play. If the Bucks continue to play well, we'll both overtake the final spots.

Gotta look up not worry about back.

Bbut we gain a half game on boston tonite if they lose then possibly gain a full game on the sixers on friday. so we are looking at being 2 games behind philly and 1.5 behind boston on friday if we win. the bucks are fighting for 8th, we are fighting for the division.

That's why we need Phil loose this game. As for Boston they have hell of a schedule, so no worry for them. They'll end up as 8th seed if not in lottery

How can anyone want Bucks to win tonight? Knicks don't have the series tie-breaker against them and they have the same losses. The April 11 game against Bucks Knicks are coming off a back to back against Chicago and Bucks have one day's rest. All this means is when all games played Knicks need to count on Bucks to lose one more game than them just to make the 8th seed (You can't guarantee Boston is gonna fall out of the playoff pic).

With Bucks' remaining super easy schedule, you need them to lose as many as possible. Boston with the tough schedule will lose their share anyway.

The goal is to have both Boston and Bucks lose the max number of possible games. If Bucks win the few tough games in their schedule how are you ever going to catch them (yes because of the tie-breaker you're playing to *catch* the Bucks).

The last thing you want is Boston end up winning just enough games to stay ahead of you (they have 3 games cushion) AND Bucks does not lose one more than you, edging you out of the playoffs by tie-breaker!!
