Ichiro is washed up and Ackley's swing is a mess. Montero is straight up pissing me off.
I'm fine with Jaso's performance thus far, as with Seager. Saunders has been a huge surprise.

His numbers confuse the hell out of me. He entered the game today with a .256/.287/.368 line which is pretty terrible considering what Ichiro's done historically. The AVG/OBP are easily the lowest of his career.
And yet he's posting the second lowest K% of his career, his LD% is at 24.3% [the highest number of his career], and he's making contact with more pitches [93.0 %] he swings at any point his career. So he's striking out less and hitting more line drives, but his batting average plummets? His BABIP is .266, which is easily the lowest number of his career.
For nearly his entire M's career, Ichiro's had people clamoring for him to rely less on slap hitting and drive the ball more. He's doing that this year and his numbers are the worst they've ever been. Go figure.

Perfect way to cap off the road-trip! Saunders keeps hitting, Wilhelmson looks great so far as a closer, and Pryor induced two huge double plays.
