i would hope roaracle would chant dirty everytime faried touches the ball or when they announce the starting lineup, that would be funny.

Re: Jackson 'Insider Information'
The Faried play early was very frustrating to watch. Sticks out his leg and hits Curry's bad ankle as he is running through the lane not even looking at the ball. They did show some resolve though coming back from that 20+ point deficit. To only lose by 7 in Denver when we are not playing up to our standards isn't too bad, and I think the team will have some confidence for game 6. Dub nation will be loud as ever!
The Jack iso plays were mind boggling to me. I want to see Steph be the primary ball handler because he will make the good basketball decision whether he has the shot or is drawing the defense and can make the pass. Obviously jack can still run some sets, but when he is calling his number over and over, something should change.

Nuggets have been playing dirty all season, and the Denver home games have been terribly officiated all season.

The trip was bush-league, but really this is just fluff. We need to pick up our energy and smoke them in Game 6, that's the bottom line. It's essentially a best of 1 series right now, and I hope Jackson coaches his the team accordingly.

Re: Jackson 'Insider Information'
The Denver approach was clearly trying to get Curry out of his game by holding, bumping, jersey-grabbing, and tripping. It was pretty blatant. And if the tripping was a stated part of it, it could be someone on the Nuggets didn't like it. I wonder if Anthony Randolph came and told Jackson about it...
(Just conspiracy-mongering.)

Re: Jackson 'Insider Information'
Actually, from the baseline cam, Faried didn't trip Curry. He just hip checked him into tripping. Which is still not cool and hardly a basketball play, but didn't look as bad as it seemed from the sideline cam.
Still Faried's dropped in my like and respect for him. I always found him kind of annoying, but thought it was just because he had game. He's given me real reasons to think less of him as a player now.

I find Faried annoying because he plays for another team. I would love to have him on the Warriors. Imagine him and Bogut playing together. No freebies.

I remember during the game Iggy come to MJ, and they talked about something, so that might be the inside information he was talking about.

Re: Jackson 'Insider Information'
Since I'm not in the Bay Area, I only get to see the national broadcast, so what I get to see is limited from a Warriors angle if that makes sense.
I don't know how this game was any different than the first two games. They play Curry very physically. I believe in the first game, Curry was pushed into the bench, which was worse than what Bogut had done. Curry has his jersey being pulled, gets elbowed going around screens and is basically beat on the entire game.
This is Denver's style, to play physical and tough. I don't mind this style in the context of the game, but when you are throwing elbows, jersey pulling, shoving, mugging and tripping, you might as well be playing football.
I don't think Jackson would have made this accusation without receiving a tip.
Makes me think a lot less of George Karl if he was behind it.

Re: Jackson 'Insider Information'
We are sounding like bitches right now complaining. I get it, I understand and I especially mad at Faried for the Curry tripping. But if the refs let it happen why not do it? I'm not condoning it, but the refs need to control the game. If the hit is out on Steph, we gotta make adjustments. Game 5 is over.
Bogut on Faried was a borderline flagrant 2...around the neck and not making a play on the ball. Bogut has been bullying fools and needs to do it discreetly next game. I like Bogut the bully.
Angry Steph is a great thing for us. This kind of game adds to team chemistry. But they need to play composed and under control with a poker face. If anything goes down its getting called on US.

Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.

Re: Jackson 'Insider Information'
we need to hurt Faried bad, so no team ever tries to do this again to Curry or other warriors. Send in Dre or that D leaguer, and just take the f@cker out for rest of the season.

This makes it seem more plausible re: Iggy telling Mark about what was going on.
I think [the Warriors] kind of brought the physicality to the series. And we stopped being the receivers and we're starting to hit back a little bit. But as far as anybody trying to cheap shot, I don't condone that myself. It's not my game.-- Andre Iguodala, Nuggets guard

Re: Jackson 'Insider Information'
we don't want to hurt anyone, but there has to be repercussions for throwing stuff like that. The thing was done on the other end, steph pushed faried, which he got called for a foul, but he's not strong enough to send a message of stop doing that. Which is why bogut and dray did what they did.
I don't think what bogut did was a flagrant foul, it barely was a foul, i don't think he got faried's neck, maybe a finger on his neck, but it wasn't much. His arms were already at extension so it was all wrist push.

Re: Jackson 'Insider Information'
If the refs only saw the TNT camera angles, which were horrendous, I can see why they would call the Bogut foul a flagrant. From the replay, it looked a lot like Bogut did the pushing only because Faried's arms were blocked by Bogut. The other angle in the gif that KevinMc posted had a better angle of Faried pushing back and exaggerating the impact.
I have nothing against it being called a flagrant. But if that's a flagrant, the Faried intentional trip should have been as well (non-basketball play).
