ZBo to GS
Lee and Henderson to MEM
Turner and JRich to CHA
Prince and Davis to PHI

I don't know if that quite works but we're heading in the right direction lol

Yeah. I feel like there's something possible here, just need to work out the details.

Since the most disposable asset in GS' possession is our ability to take on salary (via one or more TPEs) I think this is the general idea for a deal:

Z-Bo + (some $3-4M ish expiring or two year contract) to GS; Lee and TPE going out.
Lee + (some small incentive to dump said contract) to Memphis; Z-Bo out
TPE to [third team]; contract and incentive out

For example:

GS trades: Lee, Rush TPE
GS gets: Randolph, Green

Memphis trades: Randolph
Memphis gets: Lee, Indy 2015 1st

Indy trades: Green, 2015 1st
Indy gets: TPE

If Memphis is looking to deal Z-Bo they need to shed a bit of salary and would probably want shooters.

Call me nuts, but I really think a Z-Bo for Gallo swap makes a lot of sense.

Why for Denver - Nuggets already have Chandler making a lot of money at the 3 and dealing out Gallo ensconces him there. Also, Denver needs to shake up a bit to improve in the West. They have great D at the 5 in McGee, but could use more of a go-to presence to help against the big boys in the West. Losing Iggy hurts so they need a creative way to initiate more offense elsewhere. Operating through Z-Bo at the post could work.
PF Z. Randolph/ K. Faried
SF W. Chandler/ J. Hamilton
C J. McGee/ JJ Hickson
SG R. Foye/ C. Brewer
PG T. Lawson/ A. Miller

-In short Denver gets much bigger, and has crazy depth at the 4/5

Why for Memphis - Shed salary, get some shooting, move Ed Davis to the 4.

The other option is the Bucks, who seem to be going for something and need to consolidate some big men

Never thought of that. Not sure the pieces work but a Randolph/Sanders front court has good a good fit.

Jennings/Teague
Mayo
Ilyasova
Randolph
Sanders

Definite playoff team in the east with a nice balance.

Yeah they're the ultimate no man's land team right now. And Larry Sanders' defensive presence is much like Gasol's in that he can cover up everyone else's shortcomings.

Randolph and Ed Davis for Ilyasova, Gooden, and Ridnour?

PG Conley / Ridnour
SG Allen / Bayless
SF Pondexter / Prince
PF Ilyasova / Gooden
C Gasol / Koufos

Ilyasova's shooting would help make up for Tony Allen. We'd be counting on Bayless more than I'd like as a third scorer, but we can always look to make another swap somewhere.

No way, leave out Gooden and Davis and Memphis could consider it.

I'd prefer to take green and the 2015 1st and cut out the Lee for Randolph part. Indy fans have said they're not willing to use a 1st to dump green though.

ZBO
for
Bargs, Hardaway Jr & CJ Leslie.

MEM get a shooting big, save money and get a look at a couple of decent prospects.

This, and the Gooden one, are just awful.

Yeah you're right. Maybe we should swing it even more in Memphis' favor considering Ilyasova is nothing more than a good role player on an okay contract and ridnour is a third or fourth guard whose main value is his expiring contract.

Randolph, Prince for Ilyasova, Udoh (expiring), and Ridnour. I think Milwaukee has the cap space to do it.

After missing out on Teague, the Bucks' best option may be to re-sign Jennings and hope that increased offensive options, floor balance, and veteran presence will help him avoid another chuckfest of a season. Mayo, Randolph, and Prince are efficient, experienced players who can help in this area.

It's not a perfect deal for either team, but fringe contenders and fringe playoff teams often find this is the case.

In my opinion if Memphis opens this up as part of a larger deal (maybe to net a Rondo)

To me a ilyasova and gooden and 2014 pick (w/ some protection) for Z Bo makes it pretty fair for both sides

I don't understand why Memphis would want Rondo.

They likely would not want Rondo, though I think it could make sense to pursue him IF and only IF they landed shooters for Z-Bo.

I just think Rondo's market value is at an all time low now and Conley JR's is at a high. Would you do a Conley/Davis/2014 pick for Rondo IF Z-Bo was dealt for a spacing big like Ersan? I may.

Ilyasova's skill set is harder to find than ZBo's. If I'm MIL I want more than a salary dump for adding a ton of salary, giving up the rarer skill set, and getting older. Yes ZBo is better now but for how much longer? How about this?

GS gets ZBo
MEM gets D. Lee, C. Lee, Rondo
BOS gets Conley, Koufos, MEM future 1st

There would need to be some tweaks to that too. It's hard to find a good ZBo trade... maybe just for Avi Lee straight up?

At this point i wouldn't do Conley straight up for Rondo.

That one's a pretty easy no. I view Conley as more valuable than Rondo at this point, especially for our team (may not be the prevailing opinion league-wide, but I doubt I'm the only Grizz fan who thinks that).

Also, I view Zbo as more valuable as Lee considering the shorter contract, and Koufos as more valuable than Lee. Adding the 1st just makes it worse (and Memphis doesn't really have any future 1sts left to trade considering we may owe the 2015 pick to the cavs and we're not allowed to trade the 2014 pick or 2016 picks i'm pretty sure).

If memphis deals Randolph it would either be for a wing scorer (Granger would've been my target had West not been re-signed), or a package like the MIL one I suggested that provides some role players and financial flexibility to set up a quick re-load around Gasol/Conley.

Otherwise, we'll just try to land bargain shooters to put around marc/zach/mike. They did do pretty well last year with next to no threats from outside.

How bout this

GRIZ out: Zbo
GRIZ in: Shumpert Bargs Novak

Shumpert is the perfect guy for their system, plays very good D and shoots the 3 well. Novak and Bargs stretch the floor off the bench. In the end they're a very deep team.

Gasol/Koufos
Davis/Novak/Bargs
Shumpert/Prince/Greene
Allen/Pondexter
Conely/Bayless/Wroten

TOR out: Derozan Novak
TOR in: Zbo

Zbo will be the best player they've had since Bosh, but brings skill and toughness to that roster giving them more of a shot to make the playoffs.

NYK out: Shumpert Bargs
NYK in: Derozan

They really need the scoring from someone other than Carmelo and JR.
