 they have trouble fitting giannis and Sophia in the same shot even when he's hunched over.

Good game all around except for Zaza. He was having a tough night. I would like to unload him before he begins to breakdown. He is playing a lot of minutes.

She's a better interviewer than Telly, but they need to get a box for her to stand on. Larry at half time was the same way.

If I told you Larry's career high minutes per game in a season were 27, would you believe me? He played more than that average tonight. Now most of that was because of foul trouble early in his career, but I'm ok with him hovering around the 28-30 mark if he can get there.

Another reason I don't think we are seeing a lot of Larry is because Knight relies on the big man play a lot (particularly the center hand off play and picks), and Zaza is better at it. If you have a heads up player like Marshall playing PG, you could play Larry more because he doesn't rely on the C as much to create some space. Larry could do what he did best this game, which is establish position and wait for a pass.

Drooling over the thought of Giannis getting MCW minutes.

Sorry Max, but the Warriors are tailor-made to destroy our switching/constant double-teaming defense. That game is going to be brutal.

Oh, I believe you. I'm ok with him getting that amount of minutes as well, just tonight, he deserve to be in longer. Specially when Zaza really wasn't making a positive impact on the floor.

Another very enjoyable basketball game. Amazing how good this team looks when our role players can make open jumpers. Giannis was fantastic and Kendall's short stint was a clinic. With JOB and Ingles getting close I'm very intrigued with the upcoming trade deadline. Hoping to see at least Dudley Bayless and Ersan moved.

I'll happily eat a small side order of crow.... Larry didn't get called for phantom fouls, and he didn't get tossed, as I feared he might before the game. The Bucks (and refs - bless their hearts) managed to make Griffin work for his points.

As much as I (we) malign Kidd for relying on the vets, he gets everyone to play hard and for the most part the right basketball play is made. Selfishly I want to see a lot of two man game between Giannis/Jabari, but fortunately the window is just opening for those two. Happy to enjoy the ride in the meantime.

What I took from this game is this team goes as Khris goes

The team is growing, and I like it. Improvement is all we can ask for.

Finally caught up on the DVR. Great game at home. Lots of flashes showing the future for Giannis and Jabari.

Sanders played well and with better energy. Knight didn't dominate the ball all game and hit some big shots. Marshall played well and made Larry look good on offense. So many times last year, I felt like I wasted a Saturday night watching the Bucks. Totally different experience tonight.
"Our goal is to become a championship team," Kidd said.

Blueprint:

Trade OJ, Ersan, Zaza, Dudley, Bayless for expiring deals. That frees up 28 mil right there. Re-sign Marshall: 4 million for 3 years? Throw the Max at Butler. Give Middleton and Knight the QO, and let the market dictate if we want to match Knight as our sixth man or Middleton as a 3-D player. At least one of them, if not both, will walk.

Marshall/Wolters
Butler/Knight
Giannis/Inglis
Parker/Henson/JOB
Sanders/Henson

*Insert Wes Matthews for Butler if you want this plan to be realistic. I think that team could go really far.

I don't suggest looking at Knight's +/- either.

Nice. Khris did have a quietly good game and that is the Khris I like to see. He wasn't dribbling the ball into traffic or trying to take it to the hoop. He was coming off screens and hitting the open three. He needs to stick to what he does well.
