I agree with Frank's post.

I just wished the disrespect for foreign player's countries and their choice to represent them would stop. Just because Americans don't give a crap about their national teams doesn't mean the rest of the world should be the same.

"I think we have to take what that front office says with a grain of salt," Frye told reporters on Tuesday. "I think right now they need to focus on their own team. I think we had many negotiations between [us and] the Suns."

It never ends.....players continuously coming out and calling out sarver and this FO. This FO is a joke and yet they still find ways to fool certain fans.

Can't find it for some reason... Link please? I'd be really-really intrested in the context, and the whole article. This is getting really bad. No one in their right mind will sign here. Why on earth would Frye say something like this if it wasn't entirely true??? :-?

I mean I can understand if someone thinks that Dragic was making **** up, to get more money, playing time, fame, whatever, but a player who allready left a year ago? Burning bridges like that? WTF IS GOING ON WITH MY TEAM?!?!?!? :nonono:

I'm not disrespecting foreign players, and don't assume I don't care about my national team. He exhausted himself this summer, he suffered a slight injury during that summer play, he did not work on the things that he needed to to improve his game that was paying him millions of dollars like he said he would, and all of that led to his slow start this year and completely inconsistent play. My point is that his choice led to his poor play. It wasn't his role, for he knew what his role would be once we had a healthy Bledsoe.

I wish people would ask for clarification of poster's thoughts, before they completely misunderstand those thoughts, and then judge off those misunderstandings.

I don't think there should not be any professionals in the Olympics, but that's a whole different subject really.

The FO is "defense" mode.... ironically the first time the Suns are defensive overall.

Sarver and the FO are being bombarded by media questions on why so and so left, why so and so got traded etc.
The FO is being defensive, as they are being thrown under the bus by the media and some fans.

Frye no doubt in my mind DID negotiate for a while about his contract.... but Suns were still pushing back to what THEY want.
Frye got a good deal from a team out of nowehere and gave Suns ultimatum to match or he leaves... Suns didnt expect a rebuilding team to offer 8 million a year for Frye... they couldnt come to a deal... Frye left for a better contract for himself... I dont blame him, it could be his last big contract and he needs to look after himself and his family... he's not exactly getting millions of dollars off endorsements.

Frye doesn't deny that he gave them three minutes to match, so what are you claiming is or is not "entirely true"? Like the Madman said, there could have been a bunch of negotiations, then the Orlando offer comes out, and Frye gives the short notice to match. Why would this keep players from coming here? I mean, Cleveland owner rips LeBron a new arsehole, and LeBron returned. Some of you guys are making way too much of this.

The only legitimate flat out loss the front office has had is signing Hornacek. That's it. It is OK because getting the right coach is the hardest thing to do. Hiring coaches is a crap shoot unless they are a completely established great coach.

I think the issue is at least partly due to the fact the dont seem to have a clear idea of what they want to do most of the time, be it this new crew or the last one, it's like there's multiple factions fighting for control and it flips back and forth constantly.. Not resigning Amare turned into a wise decision but then to follow it up with where they spent the savings on was atrocious, they would have been better to just keep amare .. collecting assets, ok fine, i am not against that as a concept but then to cash a huge chunk of them on a mediocre prospect like Knight, that was a saving face move to deflect how badly the Dragic situation went, You know just as recent as last year Dragic loved Phoenix and was talking about resigning quickly like it was just matter of formality, and that changed in less than 12 months.. I wasn't sold or against the IT signing and resigning Frye looked to be a bad move then, but as others have said chemistry is a very fragile thing and Frye was the closest thing to a leader this team had, The Morris' should be jettisoned at the first opportunity, in my opinion they appear to be the real cancers on this team and their sullen, lets both go out and get matching his and her techs every other game wanna be thug mentality has worn very thin with me

And that press conference and most everything i have heard or read since from Sarver, McD and Babby makes me want to root against them more than for them. I don't trust them either because obviously they are either incapable of self assessment or they are genuinely dishonest and playing the media PR game . They are all obviously smart guys, they have all been successful in other areas and so forth but just like our team there seems to be no clear direction or leadership and their egos and insecurities are more important than the results

I was ecstatic about McD until that presser. I don't want a cry-baby who let's some pissing-match with a player dictate the moves he makes.

This ultimately is our core because after we resign Knight and Wright this summer, we won't have much cap space left to sign any FAs from other teams.

We should have 15-18 million left under the luxury tax line.

I can't figure out Hornacek. By all appearances seems to be an intelligent guy. Played six seasons of really good basketball under a very disciplined and great offensive coach who he adores in Jerry Sloan. Yet his offensive "system" is incoherent crap. My theory remains that his personality is just incompatible with many of the guys he inherited.

Cap space does not matter when you have no player who wants to join up, and half of your current ones want out. This comical FO has alienated the league, this team, and this fan base. Face the music choochoo. Dark times ahead.

I just had a look at our roster 2 years ago, and we had 2 players I'd consider 1st round value. Gortat and Dragic.

We've been able to get in Bledsoe, Knight. Draft Len and develop Markieff, with 18 months.

We also have cap room for another star, likely a young SF.

Then we'd have 5 starters 25 and under, with (perhaps unlikely, but still possible) All-Star ceiling.

Coaching, Defence, Chemistry develop with that model with time.

That would be my optimistic argument just putting myself in the FO shoes.

They do indeed play the media PR game like crazy. Don't ask why I know this but McD can't add 2+2 yet is always sold as the "analytics GM" to the media. He actually hates analytics. It's pretty absurd.
Obviously, inside info on this sort of stuff rarely gets out...

That's **** ridiculous. Also, anyone that's been paying attention knows that he's not really an analytics guy. He's just more of an analytics guy than anyone we've had in charge previously.
