Re: Raptors Firesale
My friend is from Windsor and he's a realistic fan of the Raptors. I told him from the beginning that they went too hard too early and he's now agreeing with me. I see it happening to teams all the time. Pacers did the same thing last season.

Lowry was the heart and soul of that team. They go about as far as he carries them. Lowry went to crap after the all star break and so did the team. Either way I find their fan base obnoxious and disrespectful so I'm glad too see this happen, They were in here acting like champions or something when they beat us.

Yup,gotta agree with this. There are probably 2-3 people over there who arent totall douche bags, but the rest are awful fan boys who attack anyone who questions anything about there team and love to troll any team they think they can beat. Iam also tired of hearing their excuse of(we were bad for so long and finally have a good team excuse) . Now you dont hear a pep out of any of them. Maybe next year they can learn to keep their mouth shut and have some humility, doubt it,but it would be nice.

I honestly think their mods should do a better job of keeping their guys in check or be replaced, theres entirely way to much trolling going on from that board,if it continues next season ,every team on this site should ice them out, just total ignore.

I think it's because Toronto is a huge city, and if I recall correctly, it's the 4th largest in all of North America. You're basically getting a whole country pouring into various online communities whether they be good, the bad, and the ugly. So I don't necessarily blame them wholeheartedly since there are good ones there, just seeing them implode now makes me a bit giddy.

They sure are quick to ban or warn someone when you go over to the raps board, even when your intentions arent bad,if you get into a debate, they are quick to tell you to leave or face the consequence.Thats why I suggested the "ice out"method.

It only takes a few bad ones to give a group a bad name. It's best to take a very measured view.

my biggest issue with raptor fans, besides some of the more annoying ones, are the asinine sigs, and animations that bog everything down. That stupid ass t.w.o tank world order thing is just beyond stupid, and has infected Thier entire board.Pharaoh wrote:#broomsarecoming

Haven't seen too much respectful discussion involving their fanbase since my return but we should all remember that every fanbase has an assclown or 50 trolling.
Sigs, and animated anything should be banned. To busy, and messy.

Re: Raptors Firesale
I wouldn't mind getting Amir to be honest. Plays defense and can knock down that J occasionally too right? His health is a concern though. Otherwise PPat is also a decent consolation prize if Monroe leaves.

I'm on board for Amir. Very solid backup 4/5.

Re: Raptors Firesale
I agree with being delighted at the Raptors being swept. So sick of cammac and all those other dudes talking all that garbage. Hopefully this is the kick in the teeth they need to learn to only talk crap when your team is good.
Also Patterson would fit this team like a glove. Get him SVG.

Can't you just turn them off Zeeb?
I only use my phone for Real GM so maybe it's different but I don't see any sigs at all

I'm surprised more people haven't thrown the T.Ross name out there. He was my first and definitely only thought really.
But I wouldn't want to give up our 1st rounder this year that's for sure.

Re: Raptors Firesale
Just because Toronto will be open to trading does not mean teams will pay their price. I'd imagine they'd want a small ransom for their more notable players.
