I love how Cuban justified his rationale by essentially admitting that he did a crappy job of building around Dirk all these years. Wonder if he realized he was clowning himself.

Cuban is not an idiot and is a savvy business man...but as a Mavs fan, I can't stand him as an Owner. He always opens his mouth saying troll-worthy **** like this, needlessly giving extra ammunition to opposing players. He's also *incredibly* overrated as far as what he's done with the franchise, getting bailed out by having a loyal, top 15 all-time Superstar. FO moves have been questionable to awful since the day Nash left, including deplorable drafting (Fazekis, Mo Ager, Cunningham, Larkin, passing on Gobert & Greek Freak, etc.)

Westbrick also had this hilarious bit about Charlie V ....said that he was following him around during shoot arounds running his mouth .... Said that he can now enjoy sitting on the couch watching 82 games like he's been doing on the benc all season lmaoooooo

My guess is that Cuban will wake up tomorrow and realize his emotions got the better of him and text Westbrook to apologize.

I hate these kinds of arguments, if you are not at 100% mental capacity for a playoff game (as a healthy star player), you might as well retire on the spot. These things don't matter one bit, if anything they can bait a player into trying too hard/playing differently. This wasn't the series where this was going to matter though, of course. Even at full strength we would have lost, it's a miracle we won a game. Anyway, Durant is right, Cuban made an idiotic statement, although I always found it funny how insecure Durant is. He is constantly mad at somebody and can't take media criticism at all.

Westbrook's always going 100 percent but when you give extra motivation, its there for any player. Its why a team comes out harder in an elimination game than earlier in the series. If you think you're giving it 100 percent, you're not. You can always go harder.

How is he insecure for having a teammate's back?

Russ has taken a beating his entire career, he's playing the best ball of his career and he has Cuban calling him a regular all-star. He directly isolated Westbrook for no reason.

Cuban needs to keep things to himself.
