Not sure how you are disappointed? You are of course entitled to your feelings, but after Bradley went down expectations had to be tempered.
Your opinion has been noted and discarded.
If you really want to suck your thumb and pout you're more than entitled. Enjoy the frustrated tears in your beer, I'm on to the next one. Reality is a part of the game.

My drug addict ex roommate's girlfriend once served Avery Bradley strawberry lemonade at The Cheesecake Factory at the Natick Mall back when he was under 21. She said he loved them, pounded liked 4 or 5 a sitting.

Getting a star player . Playing with heart only gets you so far . In the Playoffs you need star players to win
The Celtics should Let Jared Sullinger , Amir Johnson go
Trade for Demarcus Cousins or Jimmy Butler on Draft Night to entice Kevin Durant to sign here . That's the only way of getting him. He is not coming here to play with Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Avery Bradley etc.
After that . Sign Al Horford.
Lineup
Isaiah Thomas
Jimmy Butler
Kevin Durant
Cousins or Blake Griffin
Al Horford.
Now that's a Championship team. Crowder has to be used to get Jimmy Butler.

Celtics didn't lose this series because of Avery Bradley being injured, or Jae Crowder not being Healthy. The Atlanta Hawks are just the better team .

That's the only way the Celtics are a championship team . You need star players to win in the NBA. The Celtics have to get at least one of those players if they have any chance of advancing pass the first round . Danny Ainge knows our current roster is not a championship team, and said so himself . He is going to get at least one star player this offseason . He knows he has to.

Should it come to pass that the team has the option, this series showed why I want Ingram over Simmons. You can't get by with non-shooters anymore. Maybe one of them, but not two or more. If Smart is a big part of this team, Simmons can't be in there as a non-shooter.
Give us Ingram and a good FA or two and next year we'll be playing games in May for sure.

As long as we don't ship out Smart and Rozier I'm on board

I do think Avery would have made a big difference. He would have opened the floor, his offense was truly missed. You are entitled to your opinion, but to ignore losing the starting two guard seems a bit short sighted.

I know you need stars player but there is no way you can get 3 star players in 1 offseason ( miami is the only exception). We may get Butler or Cousins but it is highly unlikely we get both plus KD that's just unrealistic.

Same people that are laughing about the Celtics getting a star player this offseason did the same thing with Kevin Garnett. That's all I'm going to say . You know what happened next .

It's hard to pass up on Simmons because he has superstar potential.

KD and Al Horford is via free agency . Blake Griffin is through a trade. Jimmy butler is only one I don't think is possible if we're going after Blake Griffin . It has to be either or.

So does Ingram. And he can shoot. I think there is at least a 90% chance Ingram ends up a rotation player. And he'll probably be far better than that.
I think there is at least a 50% chance Simmons is awful and barely plays after a few years.
I just want the scorer. Simmons shot looks awful. I don't think he'll ever hit anything.
