I definitely like a Knight/Gay swap for both teams. I don't see Phoenix moving down from 4 to 8 for it though.

OK - here's a true counter. #13, Knight and Tucker for #8 + Gay.

Read a rumor on kingsfans that Kings and Suns are discussing Knight and #13 for #8. Supposedly Suns are high on Dunn and they think they can get him at 8. Honestly like that one out of all the variations as it puts the Kings in win now and for the Suns they get their guy in Dunn and they cut a lot of salary.

Kings run w/ Cousins/WCS/Gay/Knight/Collison

Suns Dunn(#8)/Bledsoe/Booker/Warren/Bender(#4)/Chandler

Knight/#13 for #8/McLemore looks like a great trade, but I think they would have to take Dunn at #4 and then grab a pf at #8.

I like this for both teams. The Kings could pick Skal, dejounte or Luwawu. I would like to get the Kings another 1st so they can take a chance on Thon Maker.

I'm high on Chriss so swapping #13 for #8 would give us a good chance of picking him up.

What about adding on a Koufus/Tucker swap? Gives the Suns a solid C and depth up front, Kings get a 3&D wing off the bench.

In a vacuum, that would be fine. But we already have 2 legit 7 foot C's. If we were to add more depth up front, it would be for someone with a little more mobility and versatility. I don't think Koufus brings enough versatility and "something new" to this team to warrant giving him minutes over Len who we are still developing.

We have no interest in McLemore. Gay makes sense for us - take McLemore and Koufus out, put Gay back in, we're where we started, and it's the right place for us to be.

What do the Kings need? And what is the value of Gay?

How about this offer from the Jazz:

Trey Burke, Alec Burks, 12th pick

For...

Rudy Gay, 8th pick

I'm not sure if I'm sold on the paring of Brandon Knight and Cousins but I do think Gay would be a good fit in Phoenix.

There is absolutely no way I'm giving up both Gay and the #8 for Brandon Knight

To be honest, I would take either trade. I'd rather take on Brandon Knight than Alec Burks, but this trade is a nice consolation prize.

Burks would slide in as our efficient mid-range shooter and Burke would slot in behind Collison. Kings pick Luwawu if he's there and we call it good.

Gay could either start for the Jazz at SF pushing Hayward to SG, or they could have him be their super 6th man and make Hood the starting SG. Either way, the Jazz look playoff ready. They get a starting lineup of Exum-Hayward-Gay-Favors-Gobert. That looks pretty awesome to me.

I like valentine as a fit for the kings if none of the consensus top 6 or 7 drop
