Thon Maker at #11 might work out, but based on what experts think it'd be a terribly big gamble that early. I'd rather trade back if that were the desire, or trade up from the 2nd round.

Given the current board and my preference to go big, I'd be picking between Poeltl, Sabonis, and Labissiere. Honestly haven't looked too much them yet, but right now I'd probably go in that exact order. So I'll vote Poeltl for now. Not a huge fan of Labissiere, I feel he'd do wonders with another year or two in college. Get the feeling he's going to be one of those guys coming in too early and never reaching his potential. Hope he does, especially if we draft him, but those are my concerns.

I know it's wild, but I'll take Thon and wait for him to develop.

Love his make up.

I do like Malik Beasley however. Three point shot and good athlete at 6-5 could replace marble.

Ellenson is the best player available on the list so he got my vote.

Yes i think poeltl could make an immediate Impact.he also the style Coach Vogel wants to Play.Defense and Running the Floor.
But if poeltl is Off board when we pick either Chriss or davis will be available.
Or henny surprises us with another player.
Cheick diallo or zhou qi

 I actually wouldn't mind trading with DEN to get their mid 1sts for our 11 to get a guy like Diallo along with a guy like Baldwin.

I agree on Sabonis and Ellenson, but I'm not sure where you're getting Poeltl is soft from, he's anything but soft and would compliment Vucevic's skill set nicely. I encourage you to check out some of his videos on YouTube.

He's starting to grow on me. If Chriss isn't there at 11 I would defiantly consider Thon an option

Sabonis. If Skal, Sabonis and Jakob are all there at 11, we'll be really lucky. Poetl can only play center, but could give us a really valuable trade chip down the line. Sabonis would be an awesome combo big off the bench and perhaps a future starter and Skal could be a great 4 if he develops.

NBA Comparison: Chris McCullough
whoever that is

Rudy Gobert #29

Also, projections arent everything. Read this about a former prospect that many on this board would of begged for last season:

"One of those great college basketball players that doesn't excel in any one particular area ... Tweener, undersized for a physical forward yet lacks the athleticism of a wing ... Lacks explosiveness, agility, elusiveness and quickness off the bounce ... Under the rim finisher, which is troublesome when you consider his size ... Not a threat to shake his defender off the dribble ... Minimal upside ... Vulnerable defending quicker guards on the perimeter ... Could stand to drop some weight ..."

Know who that is? Draymond Green.

These projections arent everything. Expect his stock to rise the closer we approach the draft.

Yet year after year people are hired and fired and teams and fans cry out "we could of had HIM!" Thon Maker imho is going to be a major player some day

Wow! Im very impressed. Sounds like he knows thr game and has a high bbiq. Also, a natural leader. Defense first. What an anchor he could be for our team. And people scoff at taking him. Next years gonna be Makers Mark shot for shot

Poetl isn't bad, but he looks pretty much like a Vuc clone, and I only think we should take him if we think we're going to get rid of Vuc.

Not on the Maker wagon. If Davis and Chriss are gone. I guess toss up between Skal and Diallo.

Without a doubt Thon Maker is the best pick at 11 regardless who's still out there. Nothing to lose but a thon to gain.
