I am loving these extra days off for the team, hopefully this means Lowry is well rested and ready come playoff time as he tends find his shooting stroke after a few days rest like the Charlotte game. Plus extra rest should mean less injuries for all teams league wide, and the quality of the games are much better too. Over-shooting the ball because of too many games can make playing basketball a bit like a job which can lead to shooting slumps/bad games.

I swear the schedule makers are doing this to us on purpose

Phase 1: Start them off on a tough road heavy schedule against mainly >.500 teams.
Phase 2: Give them a ton of days off in an easy late November/December
Phase 3: Now they have to make up for being behind in games played, so let's give them a tough January/February with a few B2Bs, rare days off and really wear them down going into the play-offs.
